stickygrafix 2 Posted July 28, 2007 My business partner is getting ready to open shop in a local Petro truck stop and wants to be able to accept credit card payments and was curious if anyone had any suggestions as to a good company to go with for the terminal and processing? Thanks everyone again!
Guest fivestar Posted July 28, 2007 We use American Paywise System http://www.americanpaywise.com/main.asp at our store. I think they are a little expensive but we have not had one problem with reaching them when we have problems or to get more paper.
TaterNuts 3 Posted July 28, 2007 Petro??? I know what that is... LOL... Which one?
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted July 28, 2007 check with a local bank first. Might be more expensive, but they are right there in case of problems. If anyone wants you to pay for the terminal, look on ebay first.
stormy 5 Posted July 29, 2007 I use Paypal virtual terminal. $20 per month + 1.9%. I have a credit card swiper that puts the info into quickbooks. If he's going to be getting a lot of credit card orders in person I'd go with something different, but if you're only getting 1 or 2 a day virtual terminal is the way to go.
