punkaroos 0 Posted December 1, 2008 Can anyone tell me if you can use t-shirt vinyl on carhart material. If you can is there a special kind. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks - Holly

Guest fivestar Posted December 1, 2008 I would say any heatpress vinyl would work, but I'm not 100% sure as I have never did it on cardhart material.
knucklehead 530 Posted December 1, 2008 I don't think you'll get regular t-shirt vinyl to stick without burning the crap out of it. You won't burn the material, but all that treatment stuff, will burn. Is this a new jacket? Maybe flock stuff would work on one that's been washed a few times? Maybe? Sure would hate to see a big Brown square burnt into a hundred dollar+ jacket.
Rodger 527 Posted December 2, 2008 " I meant to do that !!! " ( big brown square )
stormy 5 Posted December 2, 2008 Thermoflex Plus will work just fine. I had to press it for slightly longer but it worked good.
knucklehead 530 Posted December 2, 2008 Did the thermoflex stick to a new jacket, or one that had been washed a few times?

joshlindt 2 Posted December 6, 2008 this came directly from speacilty materials Hello Joshua, Plus should work, however Carharrt jackets tend to have a slick polished service which could create problems so I can
