SB Pro locks up on cut print

Good catch Skeet , Thanks . In that case " i dunno " ... SignBlazer Elements freezes on me at times also . But every software I have tried does that at times . SCALPro & SB seems to do it when I go back and forth from design to cut screen amd make many changes . Probably a combination of all the stuff I have going on my computer while designing . It is not a problem , I know to deal with it . I would suggest to contact member " Moby " Mike O'Brian , who services and sells higher end SignBlazer products . Seems to me he sells Pro/HotShot with dongle for $500 . He is involved in developing the evolved SB software .

SB Pro locks up on cut print

Reading into your post .... it sounds like you have Elements and trying to cut with the Pro/Hot Shot demonstration stuff . You can design in the higher end versions that can be accessed in Elements , but you can't save the file or cut from it . Am I guessing close ? More info is needed to help .

    Heat Press Off?

I have wondered if doing that with a hot water heater would save money . The cost of reheating it vs keeping it at temp . Did it make much of a difference in your electric bill ?
  6. That is hilarious . I have contacted him thanks to Skeet . He will be popping in here most likely , so I have to prepeare a " warm " welcome back .... speaking of Roxy , she may be working for Stetty , I heard something about her working under him ... I know many people did not care for Roxy & she could be rediculous about pricing , but I enjoyed reading her posts & she did have many realistic views and advice . She shared many links to sites to get good/cheap stuff . Like many people . she could not take a rub as good as she could dish 1 out imo . I really enjoyed poking fun at Stetty ( see the matching tatoos in my pictures ) and Assh ( Chuck ) about her . I do stay in contact with Chuck . he has been busier than a 1 armed wallpaper hanger in fly season . Maybe some of the old " regulars " will start being active again . p.s. I like to torment people I like
  7. Thanks Skeet . I wondered if he took a trip to Canada and liked it so much he stayed ... Roxy has not been on so I can't get his info from her
  8. Where is the best place to buy 50 pocket T-Shirts ? Gonna make some for myself . What do you advise as far as 50-50 , all cotton etc ? Also would like a price to have them made . Large decal on back , small on front . Thanks
  9. Animal Planet - Finding BigFoot - Videos - Police Cruiser Highlights . Anybody know why I can't paste stuff on this forum ??
  10. I'll post it when I find it ( I think it is the Discovery channel that carried tht show & all the episodes are available ) . It seems credible with a state trooper and a passenger validating it with actual footage . 99.99% of Tv stuff is so staged it is funny , but some things make you wonder ...

Where to buy Pocket T shirts

I have been buying those shirts from Wal-Mart for years ( all light gray ) . I'll probably buy from them unless I find something much cheaper . I have a quote from Transfer Express for digitally printed transfers for $4.14 for the front & $1.44 for the front with a $20 charge to " fix " my file . I have a cheap 6-1 heat press and a Hotronix press I bought for $100 over the winter ( never used , was a spare and the shop went belly up ) . DTG seems like the best though . Thanks for the advice .
  12. Me either . I don't rule out the possibilty of their existence . I am not sure a " meeting " would be all fun & giggles . The footage from the state troopers patrol car's camera seems legit .
  13. PLUS , you can go " Squatchin " . My wifes always laughed at me watching that show " Finding BigFoot " or whatever the name is

    LP1 cutting Issue

I am a fan of machine grade epoxy . You can drill and tap threads in it

    Bridges

Look on e-bay and you will see multi-stage stencils so you wont have to have a bridge ( still make the stencils yourself ) .

    Cutting Incorrectly

If you look right above the thread's title ( " Cutting Incorrectly " ) , you will see the sections which ends in SCALPro

    website

Vista Print will give you a website for $9.99 a month . VERY easy to set up and edit . Any problems and Vista Print personal will fix it . Chuck ( Ash Computers ) set me up with Go-Daddy and editing software , but is not near as simple as Vista Print , Just much cheaper ( about $25 a year )

    How to do this.

To do it in SignBlazer , there are several ways you can do it . 1 is to draw a line and seperate the rays from the circle . Another is to " node edit " but that might not be easy for a beginner . You could make a circle the same size and align it on top of the exisitng circle & " punch thru " . You do realize you will have to cut as many decals as you want colors ?? ( that is why Slice asked about printing vs cutting ) . You can then transfer onto 1 decal to apply or apply manually as you spoke of .

    Pepsi stuff!

Nice job . I would have spaced the letters so it was more readable , especially when further away .

Adding curvature to a graphic Ai4??

YW . There was a thread about doing what you want to do ( couple years ago + or - ) . Skewing/Arching is not going to help imo . 1 peice of vinyl is going to have excess when applying . I have stuck the center of the decal 1rst & spread outwards , helps spread the stretching evenly . Hit and miss as far as wrinkles for me , that is why I use the dollar store stuff . A constant diameter . from my memory , it was either Jay or M500 that gave the advice on how to alter the decal to help apply .
  21. Ted , I can quote myself also . I knew we could get a tangent going . I was afraid there would be 1 thread that would stay on topic ....
  22. It is common knowledge the whole country if not the world is in a recession/depression . I consider that " tanked " , plus .7 higher than the national average equates to a whole bunch of people around here ... Yep , I consider the economy around here which was not really effected by previous recessions , tanked this time .
  23. I know many contractors around the Baltimore, DC , Annapolis area . Many big companies have went out all together . Other companies like Reliable Contracting ( employees hundreds of people ) & Jones of Annapolis ( employees at least 50 people ) , Joe Boggs , an architect that employees many architects , HB propertys , which owns hundreds of commercial property in Annapolis plus many all around , ... and that is what they say also .. but hey , what do they ( and me ) know .... I did not by any means say there was no work , but compared to how work used to be around here .. it has TANKED big time . I used to be able to work 1 week a month ( was working at the farm the other 3 ) , and could practically fall down and make more than enough to cover expenses . Now EVERYBODY I know has tightened their belt .
  24. Brain freeze is my excuse on this 1 ... . I guess talking about John & reading other threads where he posted , I thought John posted that . That is why I asked if she lived in Tn , like John .

Adding curvature to a graphic Ai4??

Are you meaning the round curvature of the glass as in diameter or the glass has a larger diameter top/bottom ? I have good success with all sorts of curves making sure the vinyl is hot and the glass also , lets the vinyl stretch easier . I have never used your software , but there was a thread/post that described how to actually alter the measurments to make that easier . Not sure what software that was being used in that thread . I have hinged & cut parts then remove backing paper to apply decals part by part before , but too much of a pain . I use the constant size diameter glasses mostly because of that issue .
