Hi DC ,I think i know what your talking about. set the cutter up to stop at the last cut you have instead of going to its home point,For your next cut just have the cutter advance the vinyl for what you need and reset the home point,,I think thats what your talking about ? If not sorry since im new still but thats what i do with mine...Also have it cut the boxes around your text as well .,...And Dc, Question for ya, I just got my new titan 2 a couple weeks ago and love it , and i use SCALP as well ,Have you done an arc or arch Text( what ever you want to call it lol,Text in a half cirlce ? ) in Ai and brought into scalp with no problems? Ive tried using the feature in SCALP but i must be doing something wrong cause it doesnt look right..

Ya PhaedrusZen, I wondered the same thing on my new titan 2, I just got mine like 2 weeks ago and i actually removed the tape over the strip and was curious after the fact .I contacted usCutter and ask a tech and they said to leave it , but im glad i didnt,I found a thread somewhere lol that said to remove it ,Hope your enjoying your cutter, ive been doing pretty good with mine ang this is the first time ever using this type of machine ever..If u have any questions ill do my best to help since im a newbie as well...Dwayne..Friend me if u wish.. P.s. Also my blade doesnt even cut or touch the strip,It should only cut the vinyl etc,not thru the bottom layer ..What are you cutting? material brand etc? -
Im not sure what its called so i made a new thread. What i want to do is learn to take an image and have text go thru it,But have the text as a single layer and the image as a single layer, so i have to place the text where its cut out on the image. The place where the text will be placed is blank but shows an outline of the text or whatever i choose to have there.I hope i explained what i want,And not knowing what its called is hard to find it as well to give an example for others .. Hope someone can understand gibberish haha.. Thnx For your time ..I use Ai and i have SCAL Pro 3 and Photoshop. Thanx Goose for catching my mistake lol

Hey Moody,If your still looking for a table idea for decals let me know. I just built something that you just might like.I have 2 more mods to add but this things rocks for my decals..Ill add a picture tomorrow after im done with my last mod if you want to see it ..Also i cant figure out how to post a new thread lol..Im having a brain cramp lol..

1.. What would you suggest for clear app material and tackiness(light or medium or heavy.? since i use 651 and 751.And is it possible to apply decals on vehicles windows or doors when they are wet like during light rain as long as i squeegee the decal good enough? 2. How i can i get my image i created to come over into SCAL the way i made it ? What i mean is ,when i make a text word and it has a arch to it, i cant get that arch to stick with it, Am i missing something or is there a way to do this in SCAL if i create it in there? hope i worded this right,, Thanks

Is There anyway of using like a wax paper over the reg marks reversed to prevent the transfer paper from sticking to it which would allow you to make a couple attempts if needed to make the alignment and then lay the rest of your paper and decal down?

Thanks Wildgoose,Express2100,djque etc lol . Im doing it in Ai and SCAL to see whats better and more effective workflow ,But im still a newbee in Ai and SCAL......Ya Slice&Dice i noticed it after the fact on the background.Im trying to figure out how to move nodes in SCAL so i can round off the H and the dot in the "i". .Imi havent been to lucky on help thru youtube and on here etc on how everything works in SCAL.So im trying my best on learning this .And i dont have clear transfer tape yet. so i had to pretty much get lucky on placing one on top of the other so i new it would be off. Im trying to find a easier way to add use registration marks as well.So im hoping someone has help in that dept lol.. or if there is a easy way or correct way to make a shadow in Ai cs6 or SCAL so they are perfect match up... Thank you everyone.

Here is the final Layers joined together.Like i said this is a test sample.Yes JOKER< the PLUS sign is my registration mark, but i ended up eye balling it cause i couldn't see thru the paper transfer enough to use them. I'm actually doing this on a job for a carpet cleaning company on their van,So i wanted to see how hard it was to do a shadow ,I still don't know what happend with "P". ( Trimmed it before layering) But i was hoping someone could tell me how they do it in Ai or in SCAL. I should of trimmed the dot above the "i"but forgot lol . Is it possible to Do layers on the vehicles 1 by one and use rapid tack Or should i have them layered as 1 and install as 1 Decal.These are going to be 8 1/2'' tall by 69" wide overall . Ive been doing smaller jobs and now people are wanting me to do much more so i was offered a chance to bump up my size of work.The carpet van is going to have Red Letters with a Black Shadow on both sides in the size stated above.I wasn't sure what to charge but i came up with 140.00 and the customer was very happy with the cost,Was This a good amount or am i under doing it? Thank you everyone for your Comments.It means a lot to me ..

I followed your instructions but i couldnt get my new titan 2 i just got to work at all on SB..Im also trying to find the best software for using my cutter.I originally came from using a cricut explore and using adobe illustrator as well.Ive tried getting AI to cut but it keeps giving a print error when it tries to use the cutter.So now im a square one with everything.I dont like Scal pro 3 at all,unless i need to change how its setup if possible.when i put my image on the page to send to cut, it cuts on the opposite side and is upside down.I sorta like SB but im still hoping for something better and that is more layed out like the vinyl would be going thru the cutter like SB shows when your in the cut mode.

Either i have no idea where to look or find, but i cant seem to figure out my new titan 2 i just got the other day,So im hoping someone could possible point me in the right direction ir lend some help. I have been using my girlfreinds cricut explore which has been an awesome machine for anything smaller than 12"x24" area. So i decided to get a bigger machine since ive been asked to do larger jobs and ive had alot of orders placed when i get the titan 2 going. I ve got it setup,Software (scal 3 pro) installed,Got my vinyl etc.Ive got the blade set for proper cutting depth and im ready to do the next step cut!!! Now the Big Questions 1. What im not sure is ,Im using my old 12"W x ***L vinyl for now for setting this upand test cuts.Do i pick my own area where the vinyl should come thru on the cutter or do i place to the far right or ? 2. Do i need OR how do i tell the cutter where my edge of material is etc? If you understand what im asking...like the x and y ? etc 3. Am i missing something else For being such a newbie to the big boy cutter world.. here is 1 ive done before my titan 2 purchase.. -

I just got the new titan 2 last night. i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction or info on what pressure settings and speed is suggested for oracal 651 intermediate vinyl. Ive been using my girlfriends Cricut cutter which has been awesome but it presets the depth for you by selecting the word vinyl. So i was hoping for a little insight on what i should preset at? If anyone understands that lol... Thank you . -

Do u have that rapidshare again? it wont work. i also bought the set from clipart and fonts site... its ok. but io need the most popular you see on the vehicles of kids,dads, etc. im willing to buy and have a paypal.
