Send them to South Carolina I can check my network of installers and see if anyone up there is interested. When are they looking to have it done?

Just comment on the video and ask. Looks to be printed (and maybe laminated) so my guess is 3M Controltac or something similar.

Which one are you using?
Moody Blue replied to lonestarcountrymusic's topic in Other Software Programs
www.the-blueprints.com has just about everything but these are not "architectural" drawings by any means but simply just line drawings...as jaybird said may not be exact to scale (i.e. headlight placement/door handles, ect.) being that these are created and submitted by graphic artists and not the manufacturer. -
ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR AND CUTTING MASTER 3 HELP
Moody Blue replied to elitegraphics951's topic in Competitor Cutter Help
Are you using the Plug-in or not? If not (or can't get it to work with it) save the file out as the lowest eps (3) version and open with the software by itself instead of sending through Illustrator. What computer OS are you using?- 13 replies

Moody Blue replied to Athienou's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
Dont have a solution to the problem but I also own a PCUT. Subscribed just in case I run into this problem lol. Hope you get your issue fixed. -

Gotta use ALOT of this stuff to make it peel easily. A few coats will look good for a little while but really needs to be 5 or 6 good thick even coats to really come out nicely.
-
if it's on top of the clear, which most pinstriping is, I would hit it with some heat and try goo gone or some sort of adhesive remover.
-
wrap everything below the stripe in matte black...give the two tone look. I would probably remove the pintstripe and redo it in vinyl too.

Noob From South Carolina Please Help :)))
Moody Blue replied to Quitetitan4's topic in Introductions
Im in the upstate. I started with a $500 machine and a background in graphic design. No need to spend thousands of dollars until you are familiar with the process and most importantly start making money. My "cheap" machine has lasted almost 3 years now with no major issues. I will be looking to upgrade later this year or next to something a bit bigger and that I can perform a contour cut with. -
It probably cleared the recent list when you re-installed it

Need a vector file of this. Willing to pay if needed.
Moody Blue replied to I_am_disturbed's topic in Vectorizing
Why don't you just use knifeless tape? Get the general height of the area and make sure your "cut/detail" will work. Layout the knifeless on the body lines and trim it up after installed. -
Weirdest ways-time to drum up business?
Moody Blue replied to gcextreme's topic in General discussion
I always take pictures of my work and post to my social media. I typically get 3-5 new requests from each photo that gets posted....either someone wanting the exact same thing or a variation of what was posted. Seems to keep me busy lol. I can typically bring in $300-$400 per photo being that most of my work is detailed/layered or just large vehicle graphics/wraps....I post AT LEAST one photo a day if that puts into perspective the amount of business it brings. However, I have a small niche doing truck graphics so reaching my target audience is easy by posting into facebook groups and forums instead of just my friends list. I never pay for ads just simply market my work daily to the right crowd and that keeps people interested. Also seem to get an average of 10 new followers per week. Social media is a great tool to get business. -
Do you promote your business with Facebook ads?
Moody Blue replied to SurberSigns's topic in General discussion
I don't have a personal instagram just one that I promote my work through...@moodybluedecals which is linked to my facebook business page. 90% of my business is internet based with very few local clients. Because of my target audience I mostly sell and mail, but have gotten lucky to have been able to (in some instances) do some traveling for large installs like vehicle wraps. -
Do you promote your business with Facebook ads?
Moody Blue replied to SurberSigns's topic in General discussion
I don't pay for ads. Stay active on your page and post daily. I use Instagram to #hashtag and that seems to help reach a target audience. I have expanded to almost 2k followers on both FB and Instagram just by doing this and not paying for ads...we vinyl people have enough expenses to worry about
