    Paying banner gig

Banner material itself is ultra cheap and a lot of rif raf shops are droping prices to thing like $1 per sq ft and still think they are making good money. Good name brand 13 oz material with full coverage ink you have less then $0.40 into it (and way less for less coverage, at that saturation the ink costs more than the banner) for just materials. But most shops stop looking there and do not look at things like overhead, power, employees, insurance, machine cost/maintenance, etc, etc.

    Craigs List Find..

Yep market is super saturated with these things. Lots and lots for sale everywhere and every kind. Now within the next 5 years you are going to see some of these vendors disappear also, at least in my prediction that is what I for see. One quick little look on craigs list turns up over 10 printers and like 40 cutters locally. Everything from hp latex to a BN-20. Cutters every size and make under the sun.

Hong Kong VS US in shipping

I really but nothing online anymore. I support my town and local business owners as I would like them to support me. I will gladly run down to the local Ace, Radio Shack or Mom and Pop store and pay ten bucks then but from god knows where for a buck online and keep the money local. Business reciprocates and I know I do not like it when my customers buy things online rather than from me so I treat them with the way I would like to be.

    Window Perf Question

Never seen a water based perf material. I would think it would not last at all, to many edges for moisture to destroy the coating required.

    FlexiStarter 10 Dongle Issue Today

Windows update has been a known issue with Flexi forever. Most disable it and also antivirus programs are known culprits (AVG, Kasperkey, McAfee, and the worst, Norton) and cause tons of problems with the security of keyed software, not just SAI products. Its not always a option but most have a separate rip station that is not connected to the internet and will not update. Eliminates all problems.

    FlexiStarter 10 Dongle Issue Today

I don't think 10.5.1 was available last January. But anyhow, you did something or your antivirus / male ware protection did something which is normally the case. If your savy enough clean it, download the latest version with your license and activation numbers right from SAI per your registration when you first got the program and off you will go. In my mind your wasting time trying to do things with the key as that is not the problem and even SAI confirmed that. Could of been done hours ago.

    Web sites

I had many to with out of date coding. Never once ran into a problem that could not be updated or coded correctly as everything for their permissions was for a security vulnerability.

    Web sites

I am still curious as to what rules GoDaddy would have that would cause you to transfer from them? What could you be doing that is against their rules that others allow?

    Web sites

What Calls? I have been using them nonstop since 1999 and around 2003 I probably had over 500 sites listed with them. . Only time they have ever called me is when a credit card expires. Maybe you need to make sure to uncheck all the "Please contact me regarding.........." and never list the best way to contact you is by phone otherwise your telling them to call you.

    Web sites

I use GoDaddy. Hosting/managing about 30 sites currently with them with everything from large corporate eCommerce to small personal pages for quite a few years. Never had 1 problem. I really can not find a worthwhile reason not to use them. I have not tried anywhere else cause there has never been a need to go looking.

    Flexi cloud update issue

Yes, You will lose all your presets and profiles. But they are still there in 10.5. Just import them into the new production manager as you did when it was new. Takes 3 minutes tops. If you were running canned profiles now would be a good time to just go get all the new ones straight from either Mutoh or SAI as they have both changed within the last year Myself Love cloud and all the things to come with it. I updated to it the first day without a hitch ever. Running 2 stations with pro and my lappy with designer. I have been watching and working with SAI on the upcoming updates.

I think I need a quote for printing

Ya same here. 2 to 3 days from art approval. Can do same day for a premium if need be. A run this size should only take 4 hours max from sorting to boxing.

I think I need a quote for printing

Customer cost would be around 5 I would assume

I think I need a quote for printing

lets see, 2 screens. $50 setup. Actual Shipping. On say a Gildan ultra blend wholesale for a order like this would be at 4.35 each

    New to Inkscape...got a question

Try the Flexi I let you borrow before you buy it, The interface will be the same for the newest version. Once you try it you will def. want to go that route. It will be much better than anything else out there, And by the way I will be needing that back about the end of the year, I am remodeling and moving one printer to another bay in the shop and would like that one to run it separately from my current rip station.

    A new table top

They have done it before, yours would be no exception for them. Posting on a open forum like this just promotes it.
  21. So again someone who takes orders and never even made a successful product yet?

You know who I am --

I like mine for doing simple little things. It does cut nice but it also hates large files. I use it alot to cut magnetic also

    Very Disappointed With USCutter

Get a RMA number, send it back, then go buy something better, problem solved. Trying to save money by buying inferior equipment when trying to go into business will only cost you a lot more than you saved.
