    cut to ltr upgade?

Well MR. Engineer If you're comparing VM ltr to Gimp and Inkscape It's going to lose. Gimp and inksacpe have both been around a long time and will always have more advance features. But the 1 thing VM does better then Gimp and Inkscape is cut vinyl. That's something neither of those can do. As an engineer I'm sure you're skilled in the fine art of comparing 2 things. But in the end, I'm sure upper management will let you know it's not in the budget because they are cheap bastards and like to watch you suffer. Especially when the 1st 2 options are FREE and doesn't cost the company any money. Cost > your happiest. Sorry I got off track...... It's not worth it..... You should just send the 15% promo code to me and I'll be happy to dispose of it following all regulatory rules.

A very special shirt I made.

This is the most precious onesie I will ever make. The Story goes like this; My brother had a little baby girl 1.5 months ago and Sunday was the first family dinner we've had since her birth. For the last 3 weeks the whole family thinks I bought the funniest outfit for her and it was going to be a big surprise and everyone will think it's hilarious. Little did they know I had a BIG surprise for them. I made this onesie for her and made the BIG announcement. I'M GOING TO BE A DAD!!!!! I can't believe it. This is my mom unwrapping the big surprise.

    CNC machine

I'm been itching to get one and I'm getting closer to placing an order. I'm looking at something alittle smaller though. Something like this. https://www.inventables.com/technologies/x-carve/customize#1000mm

I'm wondering why you need both 4075 and 4076.

    Tumbler

Easy - Don't waste your time with most people. Go after the ones that will pay a premium for customized cups. If someone wants 1 custom cup I can get $35-$40 for a $10 RTIC cup. My biggest order was 100 cups and I still got $16 each for $11 in materials/cup and 5 hours of work

    New from Kentucky

Unless you have previous experience I wouldn't take any orders for awhile if I was you. It might look easy but you'll learn there's alot of different parts of this that require you to learn different techniques. Designing, Cutting, Applying transfer tape, Positioning on the vehicle, Proper squeegee technique so you don't get bubbles. Mess up on any part of it and you'll have to start all over again. Try applying a 20"x20" graphics to a car hood and you'll quickly learn compound curves SUCK. Especially if you're not using the nicer more expensive vinyl. Mess up on anything with the more expensive vinyl and it's money down the drain. When you start working on customer orders you want to produce quality work or you'll quickly get a reputation for shady work. Take your time, practice, and learn.

    applying 651

Very first thing you said "I'm new" Since you're new with very little if any experience with laying vinyl I would suggest you skip sign vinyl and get a good wrap vinyl with air release channels. You're looking to apply a never large piece of vinyl and it's NOT easy if you don't have any experience. You'll get wrinkles and air bubbles, guaranteed. With the wrap vinyl and some knifeless tape you have a fighting chance with the air release channels to get it looking decent. It's alot more expensive but it'll come out looking alot better.

    Question On my HTV Pricing

First off I would check your measurement because 12" is pretty big on a shirt. I normally stick to 10" on regular size shirts. Try it out and see what you think. . 2nd $12 for 1 shirt isn't bad at all. I can get $15-20 for a one off shirt. I do it all the time. When they do decide to buy more you can decrease the price alittle but make sure it's known that you're not charging a design fee which is normally $30-60. Show them a price with the design fee so they have a visual of what the cost would be with that. Next check out your plastisol transfer options for larger orders. F&M has a GREAT program were they charge you a design fee of $25 and they it's just $.15-.20 a transfer. I'm doing a 100 shirt order and it's only costing my $70 for the transfers and whatever the cost of the shirts are. With a 7 sec press I can do all 100 shirts and only have 2 hours time in it (Increasing design time). Rough estimates are $70 for the transfer + $300 for the shirts + $120 2 hours of labor. And it's a $900 order. You can't bet those numbers with HTV.

    Eee gads!

Hell to the NO. That's a crazy amount of weeding and I wouldn't want to run the risk of the little tiny thin pieces staying on.

It's been beautiful drive with the windows down weather here. I've even taken the motorcycle to work a few days a week.
  17. Other options are 1. At an outline with a check in the box for inside holes 2. Increase the stroke, break it apart, and weld it all together.

    First Attempt at Blasting Glass

It looks great...... That's a nice affordable idea. At 60psi I don't think regular vinyl would have worked.

    First T-shirt Order

You're stressing way too much about sizing. There's no standard. It's what you feel is right and 99% of the time the customer will love it. Simply use some common sense and you'll be fine.

    Question about Teflon Sheet

I have found that a teflon sheet will not transfer heat as fast as not using one. This caused some plastisol transfers to not working correctly. Once I stopped using the teflon they worked perfectly.
