Voting, I thought this election was bought! I heard one of them *self-funded* his campaign... until he gets reimbursed that is... Congrats guys, Cal

I have had a couple responses already. Thanks, Cal

Expecting to pay for this. I want to learn how, but I have a project to do now and have too many other things going on to cut loose and learn a new technique. So, I have a photo that a client has provided and I need a good vector of it. If you are interested, please shoot me a PM with your email and I will send the pic to you for your consideration. Thanks! Cal

IS THIS CAUSED FROM A DULL BLADE?

Also while in wire frame, look at those anchor points. You may have a bunch of them at the corners. Fewer is better, or as we in Georgia might say; fewer is more better! Cal -
Glad you are ok! Cal

Andy, that is how I would set up to cut multiple copies also. I was not suggesting that you try to do your whole order one at a time, rather, put one back into AI and see if there is a stray point. If you can get it to print or cut one good version then rebuild your grid. Cal
-
It *almost* looks like a stray point got into your pattern. Would be easy to do (for me) to have tapped a key while moving stuff around. Can you cut these designs one at a time, rather than the 25? I do not know how your pattern is set up on the cutting mat for 25, I know how I would do it. Cal

I do not recognize the font... OTOH, they did spell too correctly! C

I put a layered set of initials on my neice*s suv rear window. Been a little over a year now and still looks good. Do not know how often she might use the rear wiper though. In looking at the pic, do not really know how much the wiper actually hits... Cal

To move to a larger place or not??

I got to agree with Slice here - for a couple of reasons. As Slice mentioned, the lease is up and you have to commit to something in short order. IMHO, buying a house should take some time and research and needs buy-in from gce & his wife. Simply having a two car garage so let us commit to a 30 year mortgage does not cut it. OTOH, you cannot ignore the sound advice given and all of the plus factors of working from home. I suspect there are a few minus factors that have not shown up yet. So, again IMHO, what y*all need are plans. Short term and longer range. Short range - deal with the pending lease; longer range - home ownership. In the short run I would try for a two year lease and month to month in year three; with lower rent the first year and begin research into home ownership. In year two kick it up a notch and plan for the home purchase when the right property comes along. Home ownership and working from home is a big other topic and needs more time & space than I have this morning... -
I regularly (or so I thought) clean out small pieces of vinyl that have stuck to the knife, you know - the i dots or centers of lower case e and such. I usually push the blade down and get those pieces and thought I was doing a good job of it. Today my cut quality was rather poor, and nothing was stuck to the knife blade. Until I took the knife out that is. Looking into the barrel I could see several small pieces, did not help that they were silver, but I could still see them. I got them out with a toothpick and then used a small paint applicator brush with a drop of 3-in-1 oil to get in there and coat it, maybe it will not load up so much. I can say this - the cut quality was way improved. I had no more hang ups the rest of the day. I know this will not help out the old hands, but maybe some newby will see it and use the info. Cal

I am the geezer in this pic! Taken on vacation last month. Well, a vacation for my son. Is it a vacation for me if I am retired? Cal

If you cannot find the above fonts, check out White-on-white, it is pretty similar and can usually be found for free. Cal

If I could get one of those knives that does the work by itself I would be in business! Cal -
That is making lemonade from lemons, for sure! Cal
