I cut each piece individually and I'm going to lay it out. Registrations marks are a great idea, I have yet to use them on any project.

Thanks El I will post it here when its finished. LP I actually had to because I couldnt cut the dancer as one piece, the vinyl I have is only 20" wide. The banner is 4x2, What do you guys generally charge for your two color banners? Thanks.

This is what I do, in whatever design software you use separate the logo into layers, enlarge the layers at a decent dpi. Then transfer them into scalp and trace them individually. If it's simple text in your logo I just use the scalp text feature My experience had been the larger the file the more true the trace is.

I have the The SC 34, and honestly I could have gone with the smaller one. I havent cut anything that big as of yet. I guess its better to have the bigger size then get stuck later. I really like the SC and it has done everything Ihave asked it to. Now with the Greenstar, has anyone actually had bad experiences with it. I have had a decal on my car window for about three years that was made with greenstar and it still looks the same as the day I put it on. I dont have much experience in signage. How would an inside application or using Greenstar on short term banners be? I wouldnt buy it but since I have a box full of it there must be something profitable to do with it.

Well I use to golf, I don't have the time now, spend time with my wife and kid. I like modern warfare 3 I play occasionally. For the most part I work at my fulltime job then I cut vinyl. I'm waiting for more hours in the day.

That is some nice work, I work in EMS and I believe it's a state requirement here that all emergency vehicle have the dial 911 on them. I'm not positive though.

I have to try on of these expensive cutters, I just did 80 shirts on the SC and it was fantastic. If the expensive ones are so much better, I have to try one.

I don't need a graphic. I'm pretty sure I can get just about any color someone is looking for. On the occasion I can't ill send them to someone who can. Like I said I'm part time, I don't nor do I have to accept every job and I prefer it that way.

I thought about buying a printer, but I also only do this part time. Vinyl cutting cost basically nothing to get started so I went that route. MMy wife isn't going to let me drop 20 grand on a printer that's going to sit in my basement half the time doing nothing. I also don't financially want to be a slave to this either. As it stands now, I work when I want, I like that aspect. Plus I can think of about thirty or so better things to spend that kind of money on. Maybe some day but definitely not today. My aspiration is to have a t shirt brand, something small, local with a solid following. I'm not looking to get filthy rich, just wealthy lol.

I'm still not sure if I like this whole face book thing yet. I'm still trying to get use to it.
