Great glad you got it going.... and you know the key to that is, to not unplug it,,,,just leave you computer and cutter setup, you really need a dedicated computer for you cutter., so it can be setup all the time... my 2c

have you put in a support ticket? try that

do you have the cutter grounded to the stand? Try a Keyspan adapter...

If the cutter has a hole for the pen holder, do you have the blade holder in the back hole and firmly held down with the thumb screw? also have you made sure that the cutting strip is down all the way across your cutter? and that there are not any gouges in the cutting strip? Have you tried a new blade? have you tried a different blade holder.. Have you put in a little oil in the blade holder to make sure the blade is spinning freely? Make sure there are no pieces of vinyl in the blade holder.

If your going to be rolling up the decal, it is best to use paper tape. I personally use Main Perfect tear medium tack, works great

could the problem be ...that he has a .cdr file and no Corel?.. and wants it converted to an .eps file or flexistarter file? Would be my guess....

I have a media basket on my vinyl cutter now. , but my first vinyl cutter, I used to just put a bed sheet under the vinyl cutter floor stand for the vinyl to just roll on,front and back and keep it clean. worked great. Good job

have you tried just setting it up on the FC7000 model? might work.
