there is no software with installed graphics. You can purchase cds. on Ebay. or Uscutter or other venues for the types of designs you want to do. of images, The software that comes with the cutters on USCutter, is Signblazer, it is a unlimited FREE trial version design/cutting software. It has limited few shapes in it. You can download it now from the USCUTTER site and play around with it. also inkscape.org is a FREE design software. Other than that you have to design your own designs. Or pay someone to make them for you.

I think you would be disappointed, too limited on size and speed, for $50. more you can get a 25" cutter on a stand and for $280. you could have a 34" on stand, once your friends and relatives find out you have a vinyl cutter, they will want you to cut them something. Easy to get your money back. http://www.uscutter.com/USCutter-MH-series-Vinyl-Cutter-_p_25.html

For the man who has everything

Homier is about 20 minutes from me, in Huntington, In, It has been around for alot of years. Ad states over 51. How many did you need? LOL The owner became a millionaire by setting up tents on very busy intersections, in numerous towns every weekend in the summer, selling cheap tools and other items. They set up at American legions, Moose lodge, empty large buildings, you name it.And they still do it. Owner has since passed away, and the family carries on, large Ebay store and online sales. Interesting story on the business, They almost lost it all. The blizzard of '78, I remember it well. http://www.allbusiness.com/sales/internet-ebay/1142033-1.html

I hope you have your cutter grounded to the stand, wire to screws, that has paint scraped off. Or you may have the same problem again. Static can ruin alot.

    Practice makes perfect!

Looks like you caught on real well!!!!
  9. your not stating how many decals you are trying to cut at one time,or how big, but you may be cutting too many and filling up the memory, Also between cuts, turn your cutter off and back on, so it dumps the data from the previous cut. The value cutters are limited on memory, and YES, definately get your cutter grounded to the stand, before you fry the motherboard with static. And a KEYSPAN ADAPTER (USB TO SERIAL) is recommended, that is the brand name
  10. I have never heard that problem, I also use a Toshiba XP laptop. But did you ground your cutter to the cutter stand with wire? You should. Find a screw on each piece and scrape the paint away, and ground it.

    graphtec ce 5000 60 help

First off I never cut with a speed over 5. And it cuts real smooth there. Try slowing your machine down. Did you try the blade holder test with the holder in your hand cutting vinyl? Ok, so possibly a little more blade out. I run at Force 11, Speed 5, even lower speed when doing small text. Cuts perfect. Offset is ZERO 0 on a Graphtec. I make all my adjustments on the Graphtec Cutting controller from my computer. I don't make any adjustments on my cutter. All I do is turn my cutter on, load media, orgin. Prefeed. Ready to cut.
  13. probably your com ports are not matching in your computer device manager and the Signblazer set up http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/49/1/basic-cutter-setup

  16. have you tried this? Actually you can take the blade holder out of the vinyl cutter, and in your hand cut across a piece of vinyl. There should just barely be a marking on the vinyl backing. Keep adjusting the blade in until it just barely makes any mark on the vinyl backing, Now put the holder back in your vinyl cutter. If it does not cut the vinyl. keep adjusting the force until it cuts smoothly. and once again. barely marking the vinyl backing paper. Put the blade offset at 0.25mm and make test cuts using the test feature on your vinyl cutter. move at either -.05mm increments or +.05mm until you get sharp corners on your test cuts.

    Graphtec FC7000

I have this cutter and love it. I have a FC7000-MK-75 30" Purchased new in 2008, never a problem, cuts great. I really don't see much difference, Here is the new added features, but I really don't see much difference. I quess they added a pinch roller, but mine works great with 2 pinch rollers. and mine also has the media basket, included as standard. The FC8000 30" is about $1395 more than I paid for the FC7000. You can't go wrong with either one, If you can find a great deal on a FC7000, you can't go wrong. I believe the FC8000 was introduced in 2009, so it has been out awhile. The newly designed FC8000 has added features such as: 3 inch wide user-friendly LCD control Panel, a Dual configuration function (two-user set and save customized conditions), an optional Ethernet capability (run multiple machines from one location), additional push rollers with 3 tension settings and enhanced ARMS system (automatically detects registration marks with color variants). The FC8000 series features a maximum cutting speed of 58.5 in/sec, 4.0G maximum acceleration, and 20 to 600g selectable cutting forces, allowing users to process diamond grade, high-intensity reflective film, sandblast resist rubber, automotive window & paint protection films, self-adhesive vinyl, Amberlith™ and Rubylith™, among other media types. With the world’s fastest throughput performance and superb accuracy, the new FC8000 series accommodates the most demanding cutting and plotting projects and provides users with the versatility needed for a wide variety of applications. Each unit includes standard media roll rack, floor stands and dual media catch basket for dust-free, continuous long length and/or repetitive job operations.

Your welcome. It sounds like your blade is out too far., try this. Actually you can take the blade holder out of the vinyl cutter, and in your hand cut across a piece of vinyl. Sorry, In Flexi it is inches so it is close to 0.0098

    wall art

it also depends on the wall type.. Oracal 631 is a removable wall art vinyl. But it doesn't stick to all walls either, paint with teflon etc.

    Make the Cut

it could very well be the same as the 630 model. Just some other distributor selling it. Making the model name different. Where did you purchase it? That model is not even listed on the latest version of Flexi 10

    graphtec ce 5000 60 help

more info is needed? what offset are you using? what cutting software? what brand of vinyl are you using? that speed are you cutting at? Is the blade tip just barely showing? I posted this for a guy using a Pcut... same theory, But use 0 for your blade offset, that is the blade offset for a Graphtec. I have a MK7000 30" Graphtec and it cuts perfect everytime. Do you just barely have the blade tip out? It should be. If it's for that Rabbit cutter in your signature, The command may not work, Some cutters do not work with Flexistarter either on advance after cut.
