Don already made you an.eps file up above. That is a very detailed file. You might want to hire the file done and cleaned up for you. Ask the companies what type of vector file they need to make a metal stamp. Member drakesis does very good work converting jpegs to vector files. Website URL: http://www.excaliburcreations.com if you want to try on your own, here is a tutorial for inkscape.org http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/147/9/how-to-create-vector-images-with-inkscape

what design software are you trying to import it into? You stated you have Inkscape downloaded, so import the .svg file into inkscape and export as an .eps . Inkscape cannot import .eps files.

I never got an auto reply.. But I hope it works out for you... your welcome
-
I didn't go about filling out their form , I just wrote AT-42 in the subject line,of my direct email. and asked your question. You have her name now, just request a sample of the AT-75 and see if it works out for you.
-
I just sent a direct email to Sales@Rtape.com with my question. (Actually your question)
-
I wrote R-Tape yesterday, and received a reply first thing this morning I hope this info helps you out. Good morning, Carolyn, Yes, the AT42RLA has been discontinued, however, there may be some cut roll inventory available if you have a need. We have Clear Choice AT75, which is a similar-looking and performing clear tape product. Depending on the application, it has been used successfully as a replacement for the AT42. If you could let me know where you used to purchase AT42, and what size rolls, perhaps I can help. Also, I would be more than happy to forward a 6” or 12” sample of the AT75 for you to test in its place. Best regards, Laurie Richard Manager, Customer Service & Pricing signature-for-email-2011

Have you contacted R-tape to see if they are replacing the AT-42 with something else, or have another tape close to it? Worth a shot.
-
sorry, I just can't imagine using that clear on large decals. But have never tried the AT-42. I have tried the At-60 also, and have several different sized rolls, but would only put it on flat/unrolled/small decals. I rarely use it.
-
also have you done a search at other stores for the AT-42? Some other stores are showing/still selling it. See if still in stock at other stores, and buy what you can afford and stock up on it.
-
I see you don't want paper tape, BUT, paper application tape is best for large decals.and even small decals. I use Main paper application tape and make decals as large as 16 ft,/two sides. roll up, and ship and never have problems. At least, it has worked for me for many years now.

GraphTec Cameo VS Craft ROBO
MZ SKEETER replied to dapparel's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Discussion
one major thing that I see is the max speed. Cameo 3.9 inches sec. vs Craft Robo 24 inches a sec. This is from the Graphtec spec sheets on their site. So that Cameo is very slow cutting. The longest you could cut is 10ft with Cameo, vs 164ft with CraftRobo.40... Not that you would cut 164 ft, but you may want to cut more than 10ft. Cameo can't. CraftRobo you can use different design/cutting software with, but you may only be limited to using that Silhouette Studio software with the Cameo, not sure, not enough info there. You will be surprised, that once someone knows you have a vinyl cutter, they decide they want you to make them something. Do you really want to be limited to a small cutter? A 24" cutter is a standard cutter, and will work for most needs. -
there is no update to this software. As it it is no longer in business. . I just extracted, and run it. Uninstall what you have and try a different version. Try this version all CUTTER VERSION. Go down to SBE setup http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=7946f9ac31f5034cd9d5c56d04dfa8b0e04e75f6e8ebb871

I don't use Signblazer, but I think you will find a few answers here
-
Your welcome. It saves time that way.

can you show a picture of your blade holder? what vinyl cutter? and half a credit card is too much. Should just barely see the tip of the blade. You can take the blade holder in your hand and with alot of pressure, cut a cross a piece of scrap vinyl. it should only cut the vinyl and barely make a mark or no mark on the vinyl backing.

I just downloaded Signblazer from this link and the Refine MH 1351 is on it. http://www.mystat.com/
-
I have the Uk All cutter version and Refine Mh 1351 is on mine. Did you go to the load button at the bottom and load all cutters. From this thread, download in first post
-
you can use Refine MH 1351 chart http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/30/5/establishing-communication

@tservice...I believe I answered your question very honestly in a PM..
-
sorry, I can't sell or share my wizard file.

PM sent

download Signblazer and use it. It is compatible with the MH series cutters. And best to put your cutter on a serial cable, and if on a stand, ground the stand to the cutter.

New Customer's Ebay experiance
MZ SKEETER replied to renewbold's topic in Criticism and Complaints about USCutter
I'm the same way, and is that the ONLY size transfer tape he has?? I have numerous sizes for many different sized jobs. Honestly, I'm still laughing at the fact he was comparing an MH series cutter to a ROLAND, that's like comparing a Chevette to a Corvette, YES, they both drive. BUT the lower end is VALUE, not professional. . That's why the MH series and other less expensive vinyl cutters are advertised as VALUE cutters. -
would these work for you? You can add a serial card to a laptop. and use serial cables. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-StarTech-com-4-Port-PCI-Express-Serial-Adapter-Card-/400211375381?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d2e74f515 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Dual-RS232-DB9-Serial-Port-PCI-I-O-Card-Adapter-/200579359835?pt=AU_Components&hash=item2eb376245b all different kinds on EBAY, and other electronic stores.
