I would go with cheaper one. That vinyl cutter is a RED SAIL on signwarehouse. The price was raised on the Signwarehouse cutter up to $279. from $229. Raised today.. Look at the items sold. Revisions were made today, my 2c

there are still great deals on XP computers on EBAY, XP is much more stable. I never upgrade to higher windows, I keep an XP computer as a backup... -

Am I making the wrong decsion starting to cut?
MZ SKEETER replied to koletsb's topic in Pre-sale questions
I make decals for the money ,money, money. That is what supports me and pays my bills. I love to make art for the money, money, money...and it sure works for me. I don't need donations, 'cause I'm making money.!! If I need supplies, I can buy them with the money I made. I actually save the money I make. I also have a backup vinyl cutter, if I would need it for some reason. It was purchased first, with the money I made. I made so much good money. I was able to upgrade to a professional vinyl cutter, a 30" Graphtec FC7000-MK75 in no time, because, I made money. This professional vinyl cutter has made me a lot of money. I am a Powerseller and Top Rated seller on EBAY. That means...I MAKE MONEY!!!!!...and it is RIGHT for me!!!! LMAO -
congrats. I hope you had them cut something for you before purchasing...

Your welcome, I downloaded it on an XP, and had no problem.. I don't know what operating system you are using, but actually with a vinyl cutter it is best to have it on a dedicated computer. And XP is very stable. I don't upgrade, I purchase used XP systems, You can still get nice Desktops with XP with serial connection, cheap on EBAY. You don't need a high priced computer to run a vinyl cutter.

see if this works. Worked for me. http://www.ghostscri...oad/gsdnld.html

check it out.. Information and specs. http://www.uscutter....ith-stand-ZCCBL No, they will not come to you to repair. You order parts and fix it yourself, or if extreme you ship it back to be repaired. You will have to ask USCutter about the warranty . It says 40" out of stock. a 24" is standard. ... I have a 30" Graphtec and have never needed larger. You can tile your designs and make larger decals. Buying a cutter and price, depends on what you are planning on using it for.

your welcome. I've never owned an MP3, so I have no idea, But I know what your talking about, I can double click my jpeg photos and they go to an editing program. If i click my .ai files they go to Illustrator and open.
-
You do that with any saved file in other cuttting programs. File> Import/or open select you file from where ever you saved them.. open. then it's in your cutting software.
-
are you exporting the file from Illustrator to Signcut? The Plugin is an EXPORT plugin. Seems like in Illustrator you should be clicking FILE>send to Signcut. That is what plug ins do. Send it to the cutting software. That is how the Plugin works for Cutting Master for my Graphtec,

Cutter blade always in the down position
MZ SKEETER replied to tryto's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Have you tried >Hit the reset on your cutter, turn the power on while holding down the up arrow button at the same time. That brings it back to factory default. -

Upgrade Memory on Laserpoint 36
MZ SKEETER replied to Camel's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Have you tried running the big order without the blade touching the vinyl? Just raise the blade holder up or take it out all together, If it will do the whole order without stopping after trying it a few times, the cause could be static from the vinyl causing it to stop. You really don't state what is going on/ what the problem is, when you do large orders. -
will it cut thru all of the design with the blade holder up/or out, so that the blade is not touching the vinyl? If it can, then your problem is usually static from the vinyl. This person has the same problem with their PCUT http://forum.uscutte...__fromsearch__1
