    Vinyl keeps advancing?

sure would help if you stated what vinyl cutter you are using..

    I'm done

Get the correct tape, and apply it correctly, in the temperatures that are suitable for applying vinyl on a clean surface..And squeegee it real good. Once you have attempted to apply it and pulled it back up, (with too tacky of a transfer tape), you have taken the adhesive away from the decal. Good luck in the future..

name calling shows your lack of maturity.. and also against forum rules. Like I said, use the right products together. It was adhered to the wax paper backing wasn't it? Of course it was, or you couldn't have cut it. You stated it cut very easily. . You said it yourself.. You had to take the vinyl off the tape (R-TapeAt-60),,individually to apply it to the customers car.. wrong tape. Your pulling it right off, too much tack on the tape for 1 mil vinyl. Your statement below: ,i spent almost two hours yesterday applying to a customers car, by picking off every detail individually with an exacto blade.im pretty much at the point where im afraid to even sell this product, as i know it will breed dis-satisfied customers. does anyone have any idea why this is happening? is it the transfer tape? maybe an old roll? can someone tell me how i can find the expiration date on this specific product?

    Metallic Vinyl difficult to adhere?

Here is your response: When you get some experience and use the right transfer tape, not R-TAPE At-60, which you have already said your using in 2 other posts, you will get the correct results when applying vinyl. Your lack of knowledge and experience is to blame. Did you ever try asking first, what would be the correct transfer tape to use with the Creative Gold series? Of course not.. There is no question here on the forum. , You just gotta blame somebody else, 'cause you already know it all. You just think 1 tape is used for everything. That shows your lack of experience. But you feel ripped off? A good brand name paper tape is the way to go. Good luck in the future.

    Chrome Vinyl

now your saying you didn't try applying it wet or dry? You said you did right here!!, this post is ONLY about the Creative Gold vinyl you purchased and applying it with R-Tape At-60, wet and dry.. You should practice applying vinyl, you know nothing about, before you try to apply it for a customer. Good luck in the future

now you want to change your story, on the wet application on the gold vinyl ? This post you wrote, is ONLY talking about applying the Creative Gold vinyl. as you stated (wet or dry) you applied it with R-Tape At-60. Expired products? Did you see a date on it? You have no clue how to apply the vinyl correctly. Because you have no clue how to apply vinyl correctly, that automatically makes the vinyl defective and old.? You would have the same problem with a roll dated 1/3/2012.!!! Your inexperience definately shows. You wrote this on another thread about applying (wet and dry) with the Gold series. No mention of Oracal vinyl here. REMEMBER?? Your complaining, because you have no knowledge or experience, Guess you gotta blame somebody huh? Certainly couldn't be you.. right? You already know it all. wrong tape, wrong application.. somewhat related-i bought a roll of the creative films prime series gold,i figured since i spent more id get a superior product. boy was i wrong.this stuff look great, and cuts with ease, then the happy times end. weeding sucks, and for whatever reason,no matter what the surface(glass metal plastic) its almost impossible to apply the vinyl (wet or dry) the r-tape clear choice at-60 refuses to let go,i spent almost two hours yesterday applying to a customers car, by picking off every detail individually with an exacto blade.im pretty much at the point where im afraid to even sell this product, as i know it will breed dis-satisfied customers. does anyone have any idea why this is happening? is it the transfer tape? maybe an old roll? can someone tell me how i can find the expiration date on this specific product?
  12. get an external hard drive, It's always wise to have your files backed up somewhere anyways, that is off your computer.

Sure doesn't help to use the wrong products together, Personally, I wouldn't use Clear Choice AT-60 on Metallics, I would use paper tape. And with wetting Clear Choice, there is no way for the water to evaporate using Clear Choice At-60 which you stated you are using in a different thread. Use the right products for the right installation. There are different tapes and different tacks of tape for a reason. A good name brand paper tape is the way to go. Wet or dry.. in my opinion. I have never had any problems with the items I have purchased from UScutter.

    Chrome Vinyl

Try a medium tack or low tack paper tape. There are different tapes and different tacks of tape to be used with different vinyls. When using Clear choice, clear tape, wet is not suggested, the water cannot evaporate and dry with clear tape. A good name brand paper tape is the way to go, wet or dry , in my opinion. Did you do test cuts first? CHROME GOLD version, is a 1 mil (.001") PVC film. I cut Avery chrome vinyl with no problems and use a medium paper tape. Metallics will dull your blade fast also.
  15. you can find 3-1 oil most anywhere. Hardware, grocery convienence stores, etc. You need to do test cuts, with your vinyl cutter program. I believe yours are triangles, to get the correct blade offset. That is how you set your vinyl cutter up. You have to start there first. Signblazer does not have overcut. Make sure you don't have pieces of vinyl in the blade holder. Even a tiny piece can cause problems
  16. try a drop of 3-1 oil in the blade holder. Blade should spin freely, blade tip barely seen. Also what happened when you lowered the blade offset by .05 intervals. ?, And what do your test cuts looks like? From the test program on the vinyl cutter... are all corners sharp? or rounded? should be sharp. From the pictures on your design, the blade offset is too high.

15 inch, Thicker, Puckering and tearing

first off, I would not use 3 rollers for 15" wide material... put 1 roller close to each end, run slow, take the blade holder out of the machine and in your hand, on a scrap piece of vinyl, cut firmly across the vinyl, You should only be cutting the vinyl and no markings or barely any marking in the wax paper backing. Adjust blade to get there. runs some test cuts to make sure you have it adjusted good.

Frustrated - Am I doing something wrong?

it could be the image, possibly post it... and you don't state what cutting software you are using, can only guess, Signcut maybe? Use a pen and paper until you find out the problem.. that way you won't waste vinyl.
