The vinyl express is a rebranded graphtec so anything else will just not compare unless you get another graaphtec. for a cheaper cutter I would look at the copam - it would be about 1/2 the price of a graphtec and is a solid machine. I owned a MH-1351 which did a good job but don't expect it to be like the Q24 . . .will get the job done but not as pretty
