    Ironing Board Material

My favorite is "knowing how to count change" I am sure everyone is aware of this..... kid at the drive thru tells you your order is $7.61. You hand the kid $10.11 and he has to call a manager to make change. Well, today..... they "one upped it" (true story) I went to the drive thru at a popular place. At the pay window I handed the girl my debit card. She swiped it once... then again, then handed it back to me telling me the machine won't read it I need to give her another card or pay with cash. (I had no cash on me this time) A little put out (cause I knew how to address the problem) I just handed her another card. Swipe, Swipe.... she handed it back and said it's not reading that one either try another...... At this point I simply said, Just enter the numbers manually.... I got a WTF look followed up with, we cant do that here. I said please check with you manager..... he shows up, tried to swipe the card..... TWICE, Then simply entered the numbers manually. Viola!! She handed me my card and receipt and said Have a nice day sir.

    Say 'Goodbye' to SureCuts

They should allow those of us with SCA to swap out for the new software. I got SCA at the beginning when they offered the discount and it sucked. I went through several upgrades with it and still hated it. I never even use it cause corel and SB are just, well, better. I would like to try out the replacement software since I bought SCA and don't use it.

    rub and buff

Hey, not that kind of topic! Has anyone tried it out on stainless steel? More specifically a Yeti tumbler? (these things are popular.... gotta find out how to tap into the market!) I have seen a few custom tumblers that have been powder coated then etched. They look bad ass.... I just don't have a friend that powder coats. So, I was wondering, what if I did it the opposite....color the etch. Any input is appreciated, thought I would ask before I went and jacked up a 40 cup!

    rub and buff

Turns out the rub and buff has a learning curve..... I found some stainless steel coffee cups at the dollar store for, well, a dollar and have been playing with them. I really wanted to do this logo in 2 color but I think the only way to do it is going to be way to time consuming to make it worth it. I have no issue on etching the Yeti as I have done them in the past. It was the color making me nervous and after a few practices I am still not ready.

    Rhinestone pricing HELP!!!!

20 sounds fair to me. Don't forget the term "perceived Value" when doing stones..... Everytime I try and charge a "fair price" for bling I always get " that's it? Dang thats cheap, I would have paid blah blah somewhere else." Seems like (even tough I am still learning and don't do a lot of stone work) I am still leaving some money on the table so I am working on that!

    rub and buff

Thanks for the input Goose! I am thinking about trying it on something else first (if I can find something) before I take a chance on the Yeti. I also found out I know a guy who works at a place that does powder coating.... now I just gotta see if we can work something out!

    Fast Friendly Service

I better not be mislead..... If I order and pay for one thing they cant swap it out without letting me know! I have been leery of some of their vinyl in the past. Mostly the black htv. I swear each roll I get is different than the previous. Sometimes thick sometimes thinner, sometimes hard to weed etc.... only the black tho. There have been several times I thought to my self there is no way this is siser..... I even had a roll a few weeks ago... (white) one whole side was all jagged like it had been hand cut by a blind man. I know its only me having issues.....
