Hello, Well i recieved my copy yesterday so thanks marcus. I will be leaving a review later on as i learn all the new concepts of the program. My first impression was a good one. Installation was a breeze, i found the corel and Ai plug ins which were a concern for me. I did play for a little while and the program is user friendly, Nice work layout interface. I have used the older version of scal for the wifes cricut and never was a fan of the "cutting mat". The cutting mat is what you lay your design out on, for me, knowing that the cricut used this cutting mat, and is not compatible with the cricut, its odd its still their. Anyway, i made a sign 18x24, the mat resized nice, i liked the zoom, everything went well. I could not cut, one i selected cut nothing happened, which i havnt installed the update yet, im pretty jammed up making these rebel signs but once i get cought up with work, ill be able to work thru SCAL more. So thanks US Cutter and Marcus, Great post by matt! Ill be getting back to you all after i get more familiar with SCAL 3. Forgot, went to their webpage and downloaded the library wich allows you to add your graphics to the program which i thought was cool. Cutter: SC Software: Sign cut Pro.

i have seen so many discussions on here about what to use for wet applications and cleaning and all that stuff. About a year ago, i bought LA Awsome from the doller tree for a buck (makes sense, lol) any way, i always wanted to post it on the forums when i seen people asking but didnt know how long it would last... Well its been a year since i have been using it and i must say it is excellent!!!! My vehicle gets ran through the automatic car wash every week ( cause my wife is crazy ) and these decals never peel. So my point being anyone hunting for a cheap fluid to use, try out "LA Awsome". If you have a Dollar Tree, its a buck for a huge bottle.

Hello, I use the sc and mine advances also, I dont use flexi, but mine advances and starts on the inner part of the cut and works it way out, so basically mine ends where i actually set my blade to start. Also, i have to push enter om my plotter after i push cut on my software everytime.

Well, i was on ebay, seen this plotter, HP DraftPro EXL Plotter, for 25.00, local pick up only. It was a town right next to me so for some reason i bid on it with six days left. Well, i just picked this thing up. Anyone ever use one for any specific reason because i have no clue what im gonna do with this thing. It will plot up to 36" wide. Hunting for ideas cause the wife is pissed, lol i think it looks good in the foyer room. Thanks Jamie Vinyl Expressions

yea, here in zville ohio, we got hit hard also. My daughter and i were canistering for her all star softball team i coach, and it came out of no where. cars were slammed by carts, picnic tables and what ever else was coming our way. We were haulin ass dodging debris to get inside the store. Now its like black friday to get a bag of ice.

if i understand u, your putting registration marks on each layer? Thats what im getting from your last post, if so, that could be the problem. Put the marks on the graphic as a whole graphic, the registration marks will be on each layer u cut automatically. Dont matter what color they are becouse itll come out the color u cut.

Well, i dont have a graphtec, but since im here.... i have an SC, i use the built in straight edge for big designs. If i cut a small decal, i use scissors while its still on the plotter. I dont worry about straight cuts until my app tapes applied.( I use the sign concept setting for perfect sqaures.)
