Is there any cons for overlapping application tape on printed vinyl? I'm fixing to run out of my wide roll of app tape and waswondering if I could get by with using my shorter roll, but just applying it and overlapping in the center..... I've never had to do it before and was just wondering if there is any tips, tricks, or things to watch out for....... do you guys use this method often with great results for the customer when they get ready to apply to their substrate?

You can order it from Fellers........... or get one of us here to print it for you as long as it's camo in general and not something that is copyrighted. What are you looking for and I may be able to help?

Also, make sure you squeeggee your graphics really good after applying your tape.... I use conform for everything now after trying a bunch of other brands, I abvsolutely love that stuf.... but it all depends on your work and applications.

What brand perforated media do you guys use and get great results with? The brand my supplier gives me seems to be cheap in price compared to everywhere else I look. I've never tried anything else,so I don't have any history or comparisons to make..... but do you have truble with the material coming released from the liner easily on the edges or in the center during printing or storing the roll?

No, I'm not hemming. I'm installing grommets every 1 - 2 feet. It seems like it's fine until I trim the border, then that's when the edges want to curl over. I'm letting my banners sit for 24 hours before trimming just to be safe on that part also. Not even sure if that is needed or not, but I do it.

I have truoble with the edge of my banner material curling over...... Does the brand that you guys use do this?

Most clear tape is medium tack. Paper tape is high tack in most cases. I use to love the clear, but since switching to conform, I no longer use clear.

Yes, Cobra Ink is the way to go rather it's an office printer or home printer. I print labels on mine everyday and in 2 years I've spent a total of $40 on ink. If using to print shipping labels, I would get the system that uses pigment inks.
