Just because you have a cutter, doesn't mean you 'have to' make everything, yourself.

Just got this lil Jewel at my local Harbor Freight, I use it for cutting rhinestone transfer tape, or whatever gets in it's way. So far so good.http://www.harborfreight.com/18-in-x-15-in-paper-cutter-60367.html
And it slices through 30 mil magnet, 'like butta'. Too bad it's only 18 inches.

Have PLENTY of ventilation. Especially if you're gonna spray it. And, paint quality respirator. Go to the base paint shop, they probably have all the top of the line, paint equipment.

3M, has a lot of vinyls too. Oracal, and all the others, are just copycats.

Yep.

Boats, and trucks, 3 inches, and a bold font, Ariel Black, or something, so they don't have any trouble reading. Just one more reason for 'em to pull ya. Of course, if the customer wants the wrong type font, well, they aren't going to pull you over.

It's the additives they put in the paint, that makes it 'stain resistant', Also makes it, 'vinyl resistant'. Same as a teflon frying pan.

Might have a person icon, standing straight up, then sideways, etc?

What design program are you using?

Pretty sure, I've seen the red one somewhere.

I print em', roll em' up, send em' off. If someone wants it mounted, stretched, etc, I send out.
I like reprinting canvases, from Costco, and places like that. They don't get them for thirty bucks, either.

Wall murals, $7.50 sq.ft. I'm thinking the 5000 only uses dye ink, 5500 uses pigment. Really need pigments. But hey, 200 bucks? And, the large format scanners, I give that a, Hell Yeah!

Nice!

Cutting Master, used to NOT be compatible, with the student edition. Could have changed, but I don't think they would change it backwards?
-
Check MacTac 8900, and see if it has the colors you are wanting? Probably at signwarehouse.

Don't forget the six color screen press. Women like screen printing.

That's quite a list, I like it. Unless your wife is planning on cutting sandblast material, a 6000 series Graphtec would do just fine.
You'll need a cutter program, Sign-Cut, Flexi, etc to go between CorelDraw, and the cutter. Vinyl Master is another good design/cut.
-
How serious, is your wife about cutting vinyl? Or, is this really for you?

Gonna have to coat those edges. Poly, or thick coat of paint. The MDF will still grab the fabric, even after ya rout, and sand. For one color starter, good job.

Yep, 25 cents a gallon, when I started driving. And then, have gas wars on Saturday morning. People used to say, when it gets to thirty cents a gallon, they were going to stop driving, that was going to be the end of the automobile, end of the USA, etc, etc.
PS: Diesel was around 12 cents a gallon.

Plastisol transfers are 'screen prints', they're just printed in reverse, and upside down, on a carrier sheet, so when you apply it, it's just like it came off a screen print machine. Just like a traditional screen print, the more colors, means, the more color separations, and more screens to make.
