my exact set up. couldnt imagine life without it . although I eventually screwed it to the tableThis is the same set-up I use. Never failed me yet.

Last year I broke down and bought the double shaft 24" Weber Made. My tape sits about 4" higher than the table and 22" back from where I lay the left end of the vinyl. Measurements are to the center of the roll. I also have the tape aligned to one edge of the table so that I can simply align the vinyl to the edge and apply away. The BIG SQUEEGEE is most excellent at applying app tape.You lost me at "I bought an double shaft"

Louis & Clarke, Do you think your design would work without the pillow blocks? Could it instead have a metal dowel on each end that a hole drilled into the pipe could set on?I'm sure it would. It was cheap to build this way. Heck I don't even own one...

looks good and i'm not ragging on you just some constructive advice may want to work on your welding. cause the only problem i see is where the owl and book come together it just don't look right. i know i probably worded this all wrong, but hey it's late and i can't sleep.lolI just snagged a vector off line and welded/cut it. I will have to tweek it...

interesting. I put some (Tyvek) under a heat press.... and well I knew before it even clamped down it was not going to work. Wonder if it would work on a pair of Frogg Toggs?
