I'm wondering if the OP is referring to the craft cutter (maybe the cricut cutter) where the software lets you scan a pic and cut it in one shot? Craft scanner/cutter? Seem to remember something about one of them doing that.

bikemike replied to constricted's topic in Criticism and Complaints about USCutter
And we can't forget the exchange rate. So the total would be $92.72 Canadian. -

Everyone has to have a piece of the pie. Import fees, duty fees, taxes. I had some koosies shipped up here and before the guy even got the boxes out of the truck he asked if I wanted to refuse delivery because of the "extra" charges. -

Did you notice the $50 shipping? Or is that because I am looking at from Canada? -
Different blades(scoring?) for GCC Sable?
bikemike replied to ehrichweiss's topic in General discussion
From what I have seen, there is different tack cutting mats out there. No idea what would work with paper. Unless someone else has done it, you would have to go with a trial and error. -

If you try to cut paper on any cutter without a cutting mat you will destroy the cutting strip. So that part is out. For a scoring blade, I have no idea. ebay maybe? -

Also make sure you are not in wire frame mode. -

What is your default color set at? Try changing the color to black and see if that helps. -
Work around is to put non glossy tape (scotch invisible) over the part to scan.

I see that barcode in the mark setup, but I can not find any evidence it has anything to do with contour cutting other than it is there. I wonder it it is for one of the high end cutters and the CE just can't read it.

Thanks for the update.

The more I use GraphtecProStudio the more I like it. Not even close to graphtec studio, but after the learning curve it does everything I could ask for in cutting, print/cut and designing stuff. The online help files are very well written when you do need the help to find an answer to learning how to do things. If you can get the option, do it.

I got a ce-5000 running on windows (pc) using graphtec pro studio and never had a problem. Also run it with corel draw and cutting master 3 with no problems. Not saying you will never have problems, but it should be a lot less. Just did a bunch of print/cut and went smooth as could be.

Ok, going to try something different. I am going to post any pic's of my work in this thread and this thread only. Any new stuff I do, will resurrect this thread. Remember the last page you looked at. Keeps everything simple. (in my opinion) More to come, just wanted to try to start a new trend and this is what was on my phone.

Cut these for Ronald McDonald house up here in London Ontario. 1 is 18" high and the other is 24" high.

Haven't posted anything in a while. Playing around this morning and made these for my 7 year old daughter. Printed them out on that crack and peel sticky paper 11 x 17 and then contour cut them.

I don't use sign blazer, but you have to set up your cutter in the settings.

Do a quick search for signblazer on this forum. Go for the latest link.

Need suggestions on how to remove & clean all that emulsion & on the attatched
bikemike replied to Kenla's topic in General Help
I'm thinking frame up restoration. Tear it all apart, clean and reassemble with new needed parts. Time consuming and could be costly in the long run. -
Best way I know of covering up what you did.

titan 2 cutting issues
bikemike replied to Daveischosen's topic in TITAN 2 Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
Possible, if the blade is not out far enough and the pressure in compensating for that, it could send the tracking off if there are more cuts on one side than the other. Just a thought. -
Don't know about VM, but look for mask. Put the pattern over the font and "mask" Or font over pattern. Forget if it is over or under.
