Interesting, I've never heard of that.

I would just let him know of the potential "Damage" that could occur due to fading and that his lease may make him responsible for removing them prior to returning the vehicle. If the decals are related to his company, they may be willing to pay the extra to have them on.

How long after you wiped the banner were you trying to apply the vinyl? It may not have been all the way dry. I rarely ever use the clear app tape but that shouldn't make the vinyl not stick.

Looks good. I never thought of using vinyl on the front lke that.

Thanks for the update.

Those look great. Where did you get the blanks?

It depends on the complexity of the design. If it's one or two color, the stencil idea would probably be best. If it's intricate, I would go the vinyl route.

Does it record the video too?

Take a picture that area of one of the cars, import it to your design software and trace them. It is pretty simple to do.

Make sure that you are not cutting into the backing paper too. -
Hello and welcome from Washington State.

I use my kitchen floor for the really big stuff. I've done some 15 x 8 banners there.

Add a rail in the middle of each and just slide the rolls on the shelf brackets

A lot of it just depends on the design and amount of curvature in the surface you are applying it to. You can do different deformations within most software to compensate for the contours. An example is adding arch to text that will be applied to the top of windshields. Some arch can be added to your design to accomplish the same thing.

What program are you using?

Looks good.

How many are you doing? You could just stack them on top of each other and use some regular vinyl backing fro the bottom one. -
Cool eyes and I like the Pink Monster font on the back too.
