    Random Cuts

I just noticed this myself , when I do a test cut from the control pad on the Laser Point it comes out long rectangle with the points very slightly rounded. Is the offset your referring to in my cutting software or on the machine itself and should I change it at .5 increments at a time? Sorry I'm having a Re-Newbie moment!

    WF1100 Paper feed issues

Look into the bottom feeding area where the paper/vinyl enters the printer you'll see white tabs with an edge. The paper/vinyl has to rest up against these evenly. When your working with sizes larger than 8.5 X 11 the paper/ vinyl tends to buckle from its own weight & thus the bottom edges don't sit evenly causing usually only one edge to feed properly which leads to this miss feeding. Try paying close attention to this and you should not have anymore issues. Keep us updated please.

    I'm done

Amen to that awesome reply Rodger. I too will learn from this as I'm still new to forum etiquette and I learn something new everyday from posts like this and others. Thank You! The help I've received from this community and the business I've done with UScutter I truly am grateful. TomasB
  15. It's all good no problems no stress. I really enjoy this forum and all it has given me. I to am looking at X5 at the moment but I am concerned about these crashing & freezing issues. I hope service pak 3 takes care of that but will have to read some more. Cheers and a Happy New Year to ALL!
  16. Thanks for CLARIFYING ! Geeeeesh! Didn't mean to strike a nerve sorry if I did.
  17. Just an update. I have finnally got around to installing my cutter via serial port. There is definately a improvement in response time when sending to cut. Conclusion on this machine serial is the way to go!
  18. I have finnally decided to purchase another computer being a desktop with a serial port. ( old laptop getting annoyably slow) and was wondering if I would be better off to buy a keyspan or connect via serial cable Also what would be the benefits of one over the other. Thanks TomasB
  19. What do you mean "went downhill fast after X5" please ssplain!

    Laserpoint and Signcut

Any updates on that issue . Occasionally I have the same issue. I jog the arrows right left or up down and it becomes responsive again. Why does this happen? Can anyone chime in I'm sure a few of us would like to know if you've had the same occurrences and what you did to resolve it.
  21. I'm running into some difficulty with the contour cut again, after finally getting it to cut it has an offset that I don't know how to adjust . It seems that the y-axis is off. I'm using SignBlazer on a LP24. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks TomasB
  22. Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about it. I have recently ventured into making t-shirts and sublimation products. Trying to offer as much as possible so I can start up a website in the future, I hear that's the way to go. In keeping this a home based business part-time, I am really enjoying this. Less stressed and creative fun. To think this all started because I decided to buy a cutter from UScutter which also led me to this Forum. A BIG THANK YOU
