mystery33 1 Posted January 2, 2016 I have a new SC plotter, I am using Corel Draw 4, everything is converted to curves and looks correct, also looks correct in SCAL 3 Pro, but the cutter messes up when cutting a U or a Y or a certain place around the basketball everytime, and I cant figure out why??? Jburns 239 Posted January 2, 2016 if the file nodes match the image, that looks to be mechanical-- pinch rollers or blade holder. Are you prefeeding the media, so it doesn't have to pull off the heavy roll? in other words, the roll has alot of slack behind the cutter? Also the roll - is it sitting on TOP of the two rollers in the back?
mystery33 1 Posted January 2, 2016 No I pulled a lot of slack out and it actually cut the first one just fine but after that it started having this problem, and I had not touched the pitch rollers only to lock them down
Jburns 239 Posted January 2, 2016 Is the blade holder secure in the carriage, (no wiggle) and does the blade spin freely? should have zero resistance.
mystery33 1 Posted January 2, 2016 I just cut image on some some leftover ORAMASK and it cut just fine, the material I'm trying to use is Hotmark quick flex
