Sue2 920 Posted October 13, 2015 Face Out. Rolling with vinyl lettering/graphics on the inside promotes lifting or tunneling of the applied vinyls. Sue2

lablover 218 Posted October 13, 2015 I should ask...Whats the going rate on a 6 foot banner. This is for a local Jr Hockey Team. I said 50.00 bucks.
Sue2 920 Posted October 13, 2015 That said....your customers will ALL roll face in or try and fold the banner! Along with our company name & phone, I mark on the back turned under edge of every banner: ROLL FACE OUT - DO NOT FOLD! and, mark both banner ends. If it is a one time only banner...don't worry about it. Sue2
Sue2 920 Posted October 13, 2015 Pricing for vinyl depends on the size and how much work is involved, how many colors, words only or logos & graphics. Sue2

Sue2 2 colors...Hockey Name and sponsor names. pst of it was copy and paste from previous work I did. All 651 vinyl. I'd say the whole thing took me 2 hours with computer work and weeding etc
Sue2 920 Posted October 14, 2015 Here's a guide for pricing: http://thesignexpert.com/sign-pricing-calculators/ I usually have Basic Prices set for particular banner sizes and they include "BASIC" design... created vector graphics & logos are extra as are excessive colors, changes & proof copies. The full color banners are really easier to design now than the cut vinyl! AND the vendors sure are fast! Design it...Order it...Mark it up! Sue2

Sue2 OK, I just tried a 4x4 decal one color and it said 1.40 to sell...Ummm I guess I'm over charging on those. I usually get 3-4 bucks ea. Holly smokes, I'm way off on everything Prices depend on the local area too. $3-$4 is reasonable after you consider your time and labor also. My minimum charge for a basic already vectored decal is $5 for up to 5"x5".
