Mzzmccurdy 0 Posted December 5, 2014 Hey y'all I am new to this all I have set up my cutter. Installed the drivers and have yet to get a single thing to go. I am hoping to use this as a pen plotter of fashion patterns/Cutter for hard-card blocks mostly. However I am excited for all of the other prospects. Dose anyone here use their MH187-mk2 in this manner any tips would be greatly appreciated. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted December 5, 2014 Welcome from Michigan - you will need to use a cutting program like came with your cutter to cut with it - if you are trying to use it like a direct pen plotter than you would want a cutter with a true usb and not emulated like the value cutters. I have seen someone on the forum get one to plot that way but I don't recall it being reliable. you bought a device that uses vector graphics - so it won't just plot a raster file. guess more info from you is needed to help. you installed the drivers, hopefully including the emulation drivers (FTDI I believe) and then output from your vector based cutter program (scalp should have came with it) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
