mr300s 1,272 Posted June 30, 2014 Not mine but this is a deal for anyone in the area to pick it up ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/heat-press-and-cup-sublimation-machine-/161353339829?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25916893b5
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted June 30, 2014 DANG - too bad I am camping this weekend - would have made a road trip
smendlik 113 Posted June 30, 2014 If I don't get them for myself I can pick them up for you. If you are patient I can have them in Perrysburgh, OH the weekend of July 19th then they will only be 1.5 hours away from you instead of 3 hours.
smendlik 113 Posted June 30, 2014 Can you replace the rubber in that mug press? It might not be a problem but it looks pretty worn. I've never used a mug press before so I'm not sure if that's normal wear and will work just fine or if it is in needs of replacing. If I get these I'll be selling the mug press as I plan on using cactus wraps and I'd be willing to ship ;-)
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted June 30, 2014 Stacey I am sure would love to drive to the Toledo area for a meal (her favorite bribe) if she doesn't have us booked already that weekend
smendlik 113 Posted June 30, 2014 Looks like you can replace the heating band, for $145 dollars. I guess the question now is if it needs to be replaced or not. If the wear is strictly on the edges of the opeing I'm thinking it shouldn't. I have reached out to the seller to buy it but pay in cash in person as opposed to paying now and picking up later. MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted July 1, 2014 I didn't understand the $2.32 for shipping he added. and HAD to pick it up yourself. Sounded scammish to me And a Ebay violation.. I WILL NOT SHIP. on his ad...
smendlik 113 Posted July 1, 2014 Mz SKEETER - What part sounds like an EBay violation to you, the fact that he won't ship? I was a little confused on teh $2.32 for shipping to. I'm wondering if maybe he used a previous post as a template and that had a shipping charge in it and he didn't catch that it was also in this local pickup only ad. I have committed to buy but had to request a new total price from the seller as when I select the pickup option the option to pay upon pickup was grayed out due to my address. If he doesn't get back to me today I'll contact EBay to see how I back out of my committment to buy.
mr300s 1,272 Posted July 1, 2014 Yeah unless someone hacked her account her feedback was 100% and she has quite a few... Thinking the same thing just a mistake on the shipping ...
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted July 1, 2014 Yes. maybe a mistake,, But you CANNOT add shipping costs for a PICK UP. Mistake or not , it's still a violation. See what it did, It greyed the PICK UP OUT... You cannot have it both ways on an ad. LOL, make him ship it for the $2.32 First Class. I have also seen where people put FREE SHIPPING in the title, But have shipping costs below. They are using the FREE SHIPPING as a search manipulation for people who search FREE. Some people won't look down the ad for the shipping costs and it may be way over inflated... smendlik 113 Posted July 1, 2014 It's only a great deal if he actually has what he posted. My concern is if he doesn't get back to me. I don't have a CCW so I'll be going into a potentially bad neighborhood without unarmed so I'm a little apprehensive! Seriously though, I'm hoping this works out, I"m not giving up on it yet! Still haven't heard back from the seller yet.

smendlik 113 Posted July 1, 2014 All great points, sometimes with risk you get rewarded, sometimes you get punished. Time will tell on this one.
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted July 1, 2014 2 months ago 2 people I know were shot (1 fatally, the other 6 times center mass with hollow points) while taking some people to look at a car they had for sale on craigslist. I have a cwp and I never turn my back on anybody I don't feel comfortable with but I still do deals all the time and just up my level of awareness of my surroundings.
smendlik 113 Posted July 1, 2014 jaybird - Wow, way to scare me! Normally if I buy / sell from Craigslist for something small enough I'll ask to meet in a neutral place, someplace public. I don't like the idea of strangers coming to my house and scoping out all my belongings. This is why I don't bother selling cheap items, it's an easy way for people to come over and stake out my house.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted July 1, 2014 Fort Wayne had the same, just recently over guy selling video games. Young guy like 19-20.. Meet at a police department parking lot . EDIT he did several robberies. not murders..
smendlik 113 Posted July 1, 2014 Fort Wayne had the same, just recently over guy selling cell phones. He did several murders. Young guy like 19-20.. Meet at a police department parking lot . Not a bad idea, if it's on the up and up he should have no problem meeting me somewher public. Only problem is I couldn't test them out first but for the price it's not a bad risk.
