Guest kenya Posted February 8, 2010 I sold 5 - 4' x 8' signs last week & the week before I sold 2- 4' x 8'. I did this one today, using a .040 aluminum sheet from N.Glantz. This sign is for 3 businesses that are in the same building. All 3 are return customers. I'm so excited. With the sale of these signs, I finally ordered a 24" Graphtec. Actually, I went to order it from USC but they ended the sale on it. So I looked at Beacon Graphics's site and they still had theirs on sale with free shipping. So I did the same as American & Proud and put it on lay away. I may just pay it off next week, since this was an awesome week. WooHoo!!

American And Proud 2 Posted February 12, 2010 I sold 5 - 4' x 8' signs last week & the week before I sold 2- 4' x 8'. I did this one today, using a .040 aluminum sheet from N.Glantz. Congrats on the new Graphtac too, you won't be sorry, Beacon was great to work with. I hope you don't mind , I Played with these in Flexi just for some Practice, without talking to the clients it's hard to tell whats most important to them, and hard to tell what "and more" really means for each store, so I took liberties with my interpretation. My fish are Salt Water fish, but I had them and this is only some Practice for me. Not sure of the significance of the Pelican is for a Ceramic shop but I included one. It was Fun to work on these, again I hope you don't mind I was just playing in flexi trying out different stuff. Heres what I came up with. Mine are by No means good, just Different. Guest kenya Posted February 12, 2010 Like I posted on the other site..... Yes, very busy. I was going to sign a contract on 3 more signs yesterday & it turned out to be 4. So yes, business is exploding. This makes 9 LARGE signs in 2 weeks. :o I should be getting my Graphtec by the end of next week. Great layouts Proud. I'm still learning Flexi. The lady that owns the ceramic shop loves pelicans, so she wanted those on there. I had Fivestar send me an awesome graphic for the fish store, but the lady that owns that, wanted a cartoonish fish. And then I had to match the sewing shop with the business card that she already had printed up. I wanted to outline different fonts, but they all wanted just plain ones. I wanted them to POP & stand out. I keep telling myself, I have to please the customer, it's not what I want.

bkoke 0 Posted February 17, 2010 WOW, they look great! Nice work. May I ask How much you charged for this sign?
Guest kenya Posted February 17, 2010 WOW, they look great! Nice work. May I ask How much you charged for this sign? Thanks. Sure, I charged $6 s.f. plus 10% for cost of shop supplies (paper towels, alcohol, things like that). So the total charged was $211.20.
bkoke 0 Posted February 18, 2010 That's a fair price, great job - nice work...Thanks for the info.
