  1. I use a 08 MacbookPro and an even older mini with CS5 and never noticed and lagging other than tracing a large multicolor design.

I also upgraded both to SSD hard drives and could not be happier.

Recently i've been using Microsoft Surface Pro to do everything. It's an amazing tablet... CS5, Corel Draw, iDesignR all work flawless.

  2. looks nice.

might try to make the boat with outlines. reason is when someone wears a shirt like that or similar with a large solid piece of heat transfer it becomes a hot spot on the shirt. no air flow and tends to make a stick sweaty spot.

HTV is great but not for doing large solid designs, try to outline. my 2 pennies

  3. ok… I know there are Mac users but this section seems to have very few post.

So I wonder, are there lots of people using Mac and not having any problems or are there just not that many using a Mac?

Please humor me respond if you see this, just list basic setup.

Ill start right after I post this.

  4. I have basically the same setup. I have cut a lot of reflective… the jeep with the digital circuit board for one if you have seen it.

When I get a chance I will post my exact setting and how i set my blade.

I have never heard of the credit card thing. I'm self taught so I may be doing it wrong but I've had no problems.

Also, my blades last a long time..  ;D

  5. What screen press did you get ?  Looking into this now.

I picked up a used Hopkins 6 color 4 station. It needs some work to get all heads working but I've only been doing 1-3 color jobs so problems with that.

My experience is 90% of my jobs have been 1 color or 2 color… mainly because I do mostly sports apparel. So I would not discount a good 4 color with 4 station.

    FYI

I'm going to post a 2 color R Jennings in the classified section.

  6. It's the bench top model from HF.   I took the advice from some of the guys here and applied silicon caulk to every seam both inside, outside, and bottom of the unit.

I hooked up my shop vac to it and I didn't notice anything getting out.  With a good shopvac hooked up I don't see how anything could get out as long as you keep negative pressure in the cabinet.

    Thanks for prompt feedback.

When I get one, I'll make sure to do the same.
