Haven't seen the Graphic you are installing but, it sounds like a good candidate for Stencil & Paint. With proper preparation and the right products, the Heated Pressure Washer will not damage it.

Does appear to be "Benguiat-bold"... Here's a quick mock up with strokes, bevel, etc added in Photoshop;

Thanks for the votes of confidence, ya'll.... OP contacted me and we're in process. If you're interested, here's an close up of the redraw I did;

You're not gonna get a very good trace from either of those images. Without a higher resolution Image to work from there will be enormous amounts of cleanup work to do to get a clean/detailed vector file. Professional Redrawing it is the easiest route from here. Try forum member skarekrow. Very reasonable and great work

It appears to have gradients in the highlights and shadows... would indicate it was printed. Could have easily been custom created in Photoshop and printed out.

Can you do this with vinylmaster pro?
skarekrow replied to dave1510's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
You may need to Group and/or weld the objects first. -
Just for clarification; 'Wireframes' are ALWAYS used in vinyl cutting (with a plotter). They are just most often filled with color, like in your silhouette example. That frame is what the cutter actually follows. The Nodes and Paths in a vector image ARE the 'Wireframe"

Can you do this with vinylmaster pro?
skarekrow replied to dave1510's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
Out on a limb here but, are you trying to adjust a created circle as shown in my example? If so, there are special nodes (handles) for that. (Red Circles) -
You can pull a color swatch into Photoshop and get that info as well.

VinylMaster Pro has a Color Library that displays lots of vinyls but I don't see EasyWeed listed. Hexis is listed but not Siser.

It's a Roman style serif font... there's plenty of them just like that. Grab some font software and pick one. (Looking back over your previous content, most of your posts are font identification requests. The one you're hung up on is a fundamental style. I suggest you dig in a learn some font basics if you want to advance in Commercial Graphic Design.)

This may not be exactly what you're looking for as the holes are 2 paths rather than a single cut path. The "Array" or "Distribute" functions in vector software make the single line type fairly easy to create from scratch. PerforatedHoles_02b.svg

I'd forgotten that SignCut has that Mac compatibility going for it... and being great at what it does may be enough to keep sales going even with that price up there. VinylMaster Pro (Lifetime) can be had for $300 and change.. the Ltr version is around $125 but true, none for Mac.
-
Sign Cut's decent, cut-only software but even at $270, VinylMaster Pro blows it away in the same price range. Been using Vm for a couple of years now and I would recommend SignCut cut their price in half again. They're doomed at that price because of this 'New Kid on the Market'. Sorry, none of this addresses the OP's question either.

VinylMaster Cut inverts trace image
skarekrow replied to MetalHeadGraphix's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
What format are you saving your raster/vector work in Corel that you are putting into Vm? Have you tried other formats? Are you converting your text to Paths? -
"I" is also repeated in the 7th and 8th lines from the bottom.

...and yet you have the their Trademark'd image as your Avatar, BikeMike.

@Vinylmaster ... and what is the latest version number? My v4.0.0.01 sp2 is dated 4/4/14 and (to my knowledge) hasn't updated since then.

Help on this please
skarekrow replied to Primal Decals's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
" RTA formula L+w /2" That formula may be better than nothing for RTA vinyl pricing but, do yourself a favor and use a clock and actually PRODUCE a sampling of the product in question. Note how long it takes you and any potential Slowdowns or Shortcuts and compute an average from those results. Multiply that times your needed shop rate and VIOLA... Not only will you have some hard numbers to create a quote from but, you have gained Actual Experience. There is no substitute for that. Formulas like "L+w /2" can get yield really inaccurate results when multipliers like " X 150 units" are added to the equation. -

Thank you... will do. -
Vinyl Master Pro Ver 4
skarekrow replied to Signs and Designs's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
I realize the miscommunication going on here with the check mark in the box but, must add; Since moving my cutter (Graphtec CE5000-60) and Activated copy of Vinylmaster Pro over to my laptop with Windows 8, doesn't matter if the box is checked or unchecked, cutter still returns to origin after every cut. A little frustrating. -
Vinyl Master Cut doesn't Import Image

Yup... I've found the least problems with just with drag'n & drop'n into a Vm window. -
VM Pro Crashes when opening it after restart??
skarekrow replied to storm2313's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
I found that too many fonts on your OS can make VinylMaster trip up. Moved and Filed my Fonts outside of Drive C: and haven't had a problem since. Windows now has only has about 800 fonts to deal with. Vm's Font Manager, (PRO version and above?) is used to 'retreive' others from my Data drive. -
Scalp 4 pro vs what vinylmaster version?
skarekrow replied to Primal Decals's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
I bought VinylMaster Pro about 2 years ago and wouldn't recommend any lesser version of Vm for seriously perusing vector or vinyl work. Also, most of the advanced printing features of Vm are in the XPT Edition. Never played with SCAL to compare, though.
