well, what files did it give you? I just downloaded there, it gave ,me an .eps file and an .ai file both are cut ready. I have Flexistarter, I imported the whole .ai file into my software, clicked UNGROUP selected the image I wanted to use off the page/ scale to size .. sent to cut.

I do and mail vehicle graphics up to 16ft long and never a problem mailing, installing is up to the buyer, they can hire talent to install. problem with a some of the designs being posted, they are copyrighted anyway, and should not even be used commercially, UNLESS you have the permission of the copyright owner. the poster may have the .eps file, and may give it to you, BUT that does not give YOU permission to sell it commercially or even reproduce it. That is copyright infringement. Such as this logo.

Yes, Get rid of the ART CUT software,, Sign Blazer is a free software with less headaches then Art Cut.. You can find a download in the Sign Blazer thread. It is a FREE UNLIMITED TRIAL VERSION. Use if forever. You were using Flexi BEFORE (your previous posts)., WHY are you using Art CUT anyway?.

would be easier to just start all over,, not vectorize it, find the fonts, make the oval. and redo it. it's just text.

there is no control in Flexi for cutting speed, it is on your cutter, check your user manual.

offset should be .25 not 2.5 try that and work at +.05 intervals or -.05 intervals.

you will probably get faster results by calling support or PMing Howard directly,,

well us cutter sells them, Seiki on EBay sells them Clean cut Blades ... alot of places... You can search EBAY also.

did you ask for help from the tech support for this issue?

Most all images require some clean up after you vectorize them .. I use Illy CS2 and no problems, You cannot just import a raster JPEG, BITMAP image into Flexi, I am assuming you mean Flexistarter,,, The image has to be vectorized first. You can also use a FREE program like www.inkscape.org and vectorize images.

I don't plan on upgrading,, About a month ago I went on EBAY and purchased a second Toshiba laptop xp pro for back up. Also got the photoshop with it. That computer is actually more advanced that the one I am using, Got it for $250.00 I have already loaded everything on it, in case my other dies. my cutting software, Illy, and all my pictures and graphics. I also have all my graphics on an external hard drive. Just a thought for you people, who do not have your graphics designs backed up... It could cost you your business,, Invest in a backup of somekind.. my 2c

If you have one, try one and find out.. just use some scrap vinyl. not every cutter is set up the same.. and blades and pressures are different in all cases. Different vinyls etc. Your the only one that can tell by the vinyl, settings, fonts, and machine as to what YOUR machine will do. It takes practice and experience to find out how small it will cut and be able to weed it, and it doesn't pull up.

Someone gave you an answer in your other post. don't connect it USB , but use serial connection. works better.

I think you should go read the Laser point thread for help,, I don't use either product.. Make a post in the laser point thread if you can't get it. Possibly someone can help who has a laser pointer cutter http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/board,42.0.html
