If you mean more expensive, then yes, but they are well worth it. Saving time, and supplies. Much better tracking. Very quiet. Set it and forget it. Settings don't change. Better quality products, cuts very detailed and accurate. No vinyl static problems, No memory problems.

The buyers who bought them here before, seemed pleased. That TC model is more advanced then the one that used to be sold here. I don't own one. I have a servo cutter. BUT I used to own a Seiki, before I upgraded to a Graphtec. The TC cutter is more advanced than the Seiki cutter.

Well most of us here is going to say get a cutter with a servo motor, or get a Graphtec. But it is true that you get what you pay for. Not all buyers can afford those.

The Liyu TC is the better cutter of the 2. But buy the best that you can afford. It all depends on what you are using it for.

    Mutoh designed Flexi

Maybe try one of the Mutoh vinyl cutter settings. Vinyl Master just posted a new update to their software. If you have glitches, contact Vinyl Master so they can sort it out.

You can still use the Graphtec software on the Graphtec site to do your cutting. What cutting software have you been using with it?

If all you have is drivers for different models of Graphtecs, Then all you can do is try each one and see if they work. Or contact the man who set it up. I don't know of any person on here that would be using a Graphtec driver for a Laserpointer2 or any cutter other then a Graphtec.

I have Flexistarter 8.6 software, which is a bare bones cutting software with full cutter drivers list. I have Graphtec vinyl cutters. 3 different models Where is the cutting software that came with your cutter. Laser Pointer2? Why can't you use it?

    Mutoh designed Flexi

Why not use the correct driver that was intended for the Laserpointer2? What is your point of using a Graphtec driver? You can still run your smaller Graphtec on the Graphtec driver . Just check it before cutting. In the set up, in production manager. I use Flexi software also. I have 3 different cutters set up in my Flexi Production manager, All I have to do is check the cutter model set up that I want to cut at the time. I have checked the FC7000MK2-75 If I want to cut with the FC8000-75, then I check it before cutting. You can do the same thing with your smaller Graphtec and the Laser pointer2. 2 different setups. Check the cutter that your using at the time in Production Manager.

Laser pointer 2 is a Brand> Liyu. Or see if it has Brand> UScutter> Laserpointer 2 It is not a Graphtec.

New User | Bad Cuts problems

Speed does not have anything to do with cutting correctly. Start with cutting slow. This is the correct way to set your blade depth. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should just barely see and feel your blade tip out of the blade holder.

    Compatibility

Go to the Signlab site or the actual software and see if the Saga driver is in it. Many were using the Copam 2500 driver in Signblazer.

    The Coolest Weeding Tool EVER!

I have been using sewing/darning needles since I started. 2006. They work great. They fit perfect in my fingers, and pick up small details of vinyl perfect. I do a lot of very detailed designs. I have them in the nice tomato pin cushion. Always available, sticking out of the pin cushion, They don't roll anywhere. Very handy. . I have one of those tools above. It's not suitable for what I do. And I don't like holding it in my fingers. Needles are much sharper, and if they get dull, toss it and get a new one. A pack of needles doesn't cost much.

    Help! new user

His cutter came from UKcutter. so he is overseas. He pretty much has to buy what is over there. UKcutter does sell the PCUT, SEIKI and THE LIYU cutters.
  19. MZ SKEETER

    Help! new user

That would be your best bet, step up to a PCut, Seiki or Liyu or some other better cutter that your budget can afford. We steer buyers away from that cutter.

    Help! new user

Start with just typing some text, Something simple. Don't be trying to cut some design. If it is lifting the vinyl, them back off the force. Have you contacted UKcutter? They are your tech support.

    Help! new user

I don't know where you got your cutter from. Was this a new or used cutter that you got? Did you purchase it from UScutter? If so, contact tech support. Is the carriage head wheels firmly down in the track? They must be. Speed has nothing to do with cutting correctly. The lowest speed is advised. There are no set in stone settings. Force is determined by how you set your blade depth. Blade depth must be correct from the git go. If your lifting vinyl, you have too much blade exposed. You have to just experiment and find the correct combination of the blade depth and force. Have you checked the carriage head arm that holds the blade holder to make sure it is not cracked? Can you show a picture of the end of the blade holder with the blade sticking out? Maybe we can see if you have too much blade exposed. All value cutters take time to fine tune them. You need to start with the instructions that I posted, The blade holder in your hand, firmly cutting the vinyl. Then put the blade holder back in your cutter, and adjust the force. like .05 at a time. until it is barely making a mark in the wax paper backing. You only cut with the very tip of the blade.

    GRAPHTECH CE6000-120 AP

If your looking for a vinyl cutter, then why not search for a vinyl cutter Why would you want this? It states it does not use up and down like a regular vinyl cutter. It uses force. You would probably only need force for paper. It also states that it checks the paper for temps. so that the paper is right right temp to cut. (ambient temperature and humidity) The way it sounds also is that it only cuts perf like cuts and dashes for patterns. It does not state that you can use regular cutting software with it. It sounds like it has it has this pattern software that creates the dashes and perf cuts. Contact Graphtec tech support. Perforation cutting is performed by controlling the cutting force instead of blade up/down movements - dramatically increasing throughput. The force is controlled by the design software using a new command.

Great, and just so you know from the git go and don't find some outdated video that is totally incorrect.. This is the correct way to set your blade depth. It works. Ok, understood. But to help, start your own thread next time. The Original post that you wrote on, had nothing to really do with USCUTTER directly. It was a 3rd party selling USCutter products. The original seller (3rd Party) was responsible for the tech support to the buyer. A Russian Seller was drop shipping vinyl cutters.
