Goodwin 0 Posted October 27, 2008 Im fairly new to vinyl cutting and have been asked to re-design some banners for a local drama company. They have given me the old banners that I have sat and picked the old vinyl off, but it has left a ghost imprint of the old vinyl which isnt going when I scrub. Any ideas or is this the end for the vinyl banner?
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted October 27, 2008 I wouldn't waste my time getting old vinyl off when I can get new banners for under $.70 cents a square foot, hemmed and grommeted. However. for removing the 'ghost' which is the adhesive...Goo Gone is what I use. It needs to soak a few minutes and STILL requires a lot of scrubbing. Spyder Graphix 0 Posted October 28, 2008 I am with you on that one. I have a customer today that called and wanted me to do that on a banner that i made for them about a month ago.
