rear window aplication question!!!!!!!!!!!

a customer wants me to apply a 12" decal for her on her rear car window, but she has a rear window wiper. will the wiper peel the decal off ? or will it not damage the decal? any advise is welcome she will be comming to get the decal installed today @ 2:30pm hope fully i will get some advice by then thanks!

It sure could...and it definately will scratch the decal if a bit of sand or a small rock gets under the wiper plade,or if the blade gets worn.... I've had it happen on my own truck.

Do it on the inside,reversed.

On the inside you more than likely have the defroster to deal with. Would be a pain if you ever have to remove it. If it were my vehicle I think I would still put it on the outside. Rear wipers usually dont get left on like the front do.

If you do,make her aware of what might happen and have her sign a waver to that .

Check your state law on stickers on glass too.

In MN it's illegal for a car to have any sticker, any size, on the windows.

The sillier part is still to come.

When you go to a state park you have to buy a windshield sticker.

It must be stuck on your windshield.  It's the law.

It's illegal to have a sticker on your windshield.

if i put the decal on the inside reversed will the adhesive show and bubbles !

Doing an inside application is not a problem, unless the glass is tinted like my PT is.

I learned that the hard way.

How often does she use the back wiper? Ive never even turned mine on  I wonder if it even works... :-

The guy down the street has a Mercedes that has wipers on the headlights. Just about as useful as on a rear window,if you ask me.

I had a graphic in the back window of my company van.  It was perfect since the wiper didn't clear the window very well.  Let someone borrow the van and sure enough, they used the rear wiper.  Lucky for me it didn't scratch the vinyl to bad.
