Corel vs. Signblazer Nodes {newb}

Can someone give me a little insight on this?  I have a file that in corel draw has 1842 nodes.  When I get the file into SBE it has literally thousands.  I tried directly copying in, exporting as a Tiff, .cmx file, .eps etc...No matter the format I get the same results of many more nodes.  I need to bulk print these and the cutter buffer fills quickly.  Also, is there a place in SBE that will give a node count.

I'd say you had to many nodes in CorelDraw too. I'v had to clean up files like that on CDX3 &4 there is a "reduce nodes" slider, Sorry but I don't know anything about Sign Blazer except we had it at work for the plotter and the graphics department used coreldraw instead..
