Copam/X2/AI....

Hey everyone.  Has anyone successfully cut directly from AI using X2 on their Copam?  I know someone has done it from Corel but i don't think i have seen or read anyone doing it from AI. 

  With my 'lil Roland SX15, i can cut directly from Al using Cutchoice.  So if anyone has success doing this, please post if it is possible and how you got it to work.  Thank you for your time.

I have not heard of anyone cutting/ plotting directly from AI with any of our cutters. The Refine MH and Copam series cutters have been configured to cut/ plot from Corel though. Not much help if you only have Illy.....

Charlie are you wanting to use signcut x2 as your cutting software?  If so, then yes you should be able to design in Illy and then click the plugin button and it will automatically open up signcut to cut.

yes, it works great with Illy or Corel Draw.

Well, I guess i will be the first to try it as soon as i get enough to buy one from you Ken. I have read all the literature, just wondering if anyone had first hand experience.  I will call Signcut and see if they can answer a couple more q's.
