cutting a plastic type of material

trying to make some stencils for spray painting but want them to be reusable. if i feed thing plastic like a notebook folder through it, will that mess the machine up? is there a recommended type of plastic?

Notebook plastic? Probably too thick to cut. Most people I know that need stencisl for painting with a brush or airbrushing.....use paint mask vinyl. Not sure if it is re-usable or not.
