cutting a plastic type of material
carolinatinter posted a topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Discussion
trying to make some stencils for spray painting but want them to be reusable. if i feed thing plastic like a notebook folder through it, will that mess the machine up? is there a recommended type of plastic? -

i have had a few files vectorized by friends that were done in flexisign and when they email them back, signblazer wont read them or allow them to open up. the screen just remains blank. it flashes like it loads but the file isnt anywhere to be found. any and all help will be appreciated

if there are different colors, you need to highlight all the colors and it will cut everything at once
-
a customer has sent me her logo in a pdf file and i was trying to find the easiest way to import it into signblazer to cut.
-
i order per job and let the customer know it will be a few days on shipping. (if i cant get it in town) then i get half the money down, order it, the other half is your profit. if its a color id like to have more of and will be a hot seller, i order a 10 yard roll as thats usually when the price break starts

FREDDY KRUEGER won't leave me alone-Blade cuts across work
carolinatinter replied to lee157's topic in SignBlazer
i have this same exact problem but only on larger jobs or letterings as well. its cost me over 40' of wasted material in the past month. i wish someone had an answer to what is causing this because i know they wont be reimbursing me for cutting into my pockets -
i cant get the upper arch on the "hyatt in the high country" to read as clearly as this does.

here it is. plain and simple

the mh-1351. i just realized that this machine does this on every large job. it also will take the blade not directly back to the home position which sometimes ends up cutting on the edge of the material where the roller indentions are and that never comes out of the vinyl. why is the plotter reading it this way and how can i change it so i stop wasting so much material
