help it's restarting on it's own

just as the topic states everytime i do a project in signblazer right when it looks good when i press cut it restarts my computer any ideas?

i'm running XP home

              P4 180 GHz

              768 of RAM

                with service pack 3 on it

When did it start restarting on its own? Any hardware or software change around that time (sp3?, new ram, new program?)

when your computer boots back up,do you get an error message? It sounds like a memory dump to me.

ya i just got my plotter and software havent been able to use it cause my computer keeps restarting

no error msgs just the normal "windows meesed up do you want to log into safe mode or log onto windows nomaly"

Which cutter do you have, and which connection method are you using?

i have creation CT-630 and using usb as connection the other cable computer won't recegnize it's pluged in

Use the serial connection. The computer itself doesn't need to see the plotter, only the SignBlazer software does. You'll need to reset the settings in SBE for the serial com port, usually com1.

exactly. You don't get a 'new hardware found' pop-up with serial.
