dbtoutfit 5 Posted June 21, 2008 Making some head way. I got a sample of MacTac printable vinyl coming in and spoke with them about it. One thing is for sure you have to lay clear over any printed vinyl unless it's thermal print which is still advised. I have been printing to avery sticker paper then laying clear vinyl over it. It works great but the sticker paper doesnt have the same Tac stregth as vinyl products. At this point with the avery sticker paper you need to spray adhesive on the backing to get a good bond on application. Eric
routesmith 0 Posted June 29, 2008 If you apply in the free vinyl section, (sorry I forget where) for the avery vinyl with the overlayment and all that... they send you a WHACK of printable vinyl, and let me tell you... it works fantastic... no bleeding..or anything, they sent me like 36" x 10 yards, enough to last quite a while Wayne

Big-Kid 0 Posted August 4, 2008 When you print on the Avery or the Mac Tac stuff, you'll still need to apply a sheet of clear over it? Is this to keep the color(s) from bleeding or washing off? What are you guys using to print on there with?
