protek 0 Posted June 5, 2008 If you look at my screen shot, where all the tiny circles are it might close the cuts but make a tail. I have tried every offset I can think of. Today Offset had NO effect. 0.001 - 0.100, same results, LOL. Overcut is down to.050 (so it at least closes), tried auto weld and trap (On and Off). Curve quality is set to high. Speed and pres on the machine is now at 16 ips and 60 pres with similar results as other speeds and pres. This MH 721 is on a serial connection. I can fine tune it to cut block letters but graphics ... it acts up like a troubled child on crack. Had major issues with the PCUT now I am having diff probs with this Refine. Please check screen shot. Thanks, Paul
Guest Terry Posted June 5, 2008 Post the file for me. I have the same cutter and Flexi, no problems ever.
kenimes 42 Posted June 5, 2008 Post the file for me. I have the same cutter and Flexi, no problems ever. Maybe if you could offer up which values you have for each setting in Flexi, we could try and find out if it is software related, or hardware.
Guest Terry Posted June 5, 2008 My speed is 12, no hurry want it clean. My force is 70, could be because of FDC brand vinyl my favorite or 3m.

Guest Terry Posted June 5, 2008 I'm on Default in offset on Pro, and I'm on 25 offset in starter edition.

protek 0 Posted June 5, 2008 Hi Terry, I am running pro as well. My settings are the same as yours with the exception of over cut and com. If I do not have over cut on, it will not close block letters. I tried to attach the file under additional options but it says the extension is not allowed. Thanks, Paul

Guest Terry Posted June 5, 2008 You export file as eps. Flexi will compress it.
protek 0 Posted June 5, 2008 Ok, exported and attached. Just got of phone with Ken. He logged into my computer and made some test cuts using SB. It ended up leaving little tales on regular text. Sending out new Motherboard. Can you still try the file anyway and see what you get? Thanks, Paul spoiled.eps spoiled.eps
Guest Terry Posted June 5, 2008 I'll test it now. If your not apart yet... drag a star out of flexi cut it and see if the tips are pointed or hooked.
Guest Terry Posted June 5, 2008 No flaws in graphic file. The shiny dots are just bounce flash. It weeded in one hole section when I pulled it off.
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted June 5, 2008 it cut fine for me in Flexi as well.

Guest Terry Posted June 6, 2008 Well ya probably got it apart now, but 20 is fast for me, I use 12-16 max. If it's to fast and your blade is set low you will get hooks.
