LP 36" Vinyl racks poles not long enough

Ok I'm really confused I put the whole thing together but the metal rods that go on the back are about 3 inches short on both ends of actually fitting in the rack, can someone help me or did I just get the wrong vinyl rack for my plotter?

This one is with the pole inserted on one end and thats how much of a gap I have left

Remove the top brackets, put them on the inside, and not the outside of the uprights.
