discoreject 0 Posted March 12, 2016 Hi, I recently have had to re-install Flexisign on a new laptop. I have a ROHS 721 plotter and have installed the drivers. The laptop is now recognising the plotter, but I am unable to get Flexisign to do the same. I have been into production manager and tried to set up, but the plotter is not on the manufacturers list. I have tried setting up with some of the different models, but I just get the "cannot find port" error. Has anyone else had this problem and knows a way to get around this? Thanks in advance. discoreject 0 Posted March 12, 2016 So I've now found that the plotter is Graphtec FC5100. I have selected this model and connected to USB/COM1, but still no luck. Just getting cannot find port. Very frustrating
MZ SKEETER 4,718 Posted March 12, 2016 Provide some pictures of your cutter.. BIG huge difference between a value cutter (Rohs 721) and a Graphtec. FC5100
discoreject 0 Posted March 12, 2016 It is definitely a budget one, but windows is recognising it as a graphtec fc5100?
MZ SKEETER 4,718 Posted March 12, 2016 What version of Flexisign on what computer operating system?. Or maybe try the Generic Roland PNC1000 driver. Have you been running this cutter already on the other computer with Flexisign? If so how did you set it up the first time?
