slice&dice 2,450 Posted August 18, 2015 OK, this is an obscure thing, but here goes --- I just completed a sign, with a SPECIAL OFFER * This offer has a catch, which is contained within a short sentence at the bottom of the sign, with that Asterisk * So, more and more, I'm seeing asterisks on things everywhere, in many advertisements. Especially so on TV, where you have to Divo a program or commercial and pause it to see what their disclaimers really say !@!#% Anyway, I guess my question is this ---- How small does the text in a disclaimer need to be before it no longer qualifies as a valid explaining factor to consumers?
