stickerman 28 Posted May 24, 2015 Have a new dance studio in town that wants names on all their doors. They do not want just vinyl they want some type of nice substrate. Can anyone point me to a website for something like this. Thanks
slice&dice 2,450 Posted May 24, 2015 Be aware that the federal ADA law specifies these types of wayfinder signs must contain Braille. The Braille must accompany the characters (below the characters) and must be Contracted Braille (formerly called Grade 2 Braille). "If a sign identifies a permanent room or space of a facility, including exits, directs or informs about functional spaces of the facility, or identifies, directs to, or informs about accessible features of the facility, it must comply." - Guidelines of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. You might want to contact GRIMCO for your architectural sign needs. or try this company -- http://www.mydoorsign.com/braille-signs
