Grimey 10 Posted February 25, 2015 Using photoshop cc to create a design. Save it as a png file and when I put it in SCALP its a lot bigger then it's suppose to be. How do I save the file so it will be the exact size o designed it as?
skarekrow 1,842 Posted February 25, 2015 In Ps menu>Image>Image Size (enter desired size and proportion, scale, etc tick marks) click ok. Save. This is in CS3... don't really know how the cloud version is laid out.
skarekrow 1,842 Posted February 25, 2015 Know that white area (background) outside the image in photoshop will be included in the size, even if transparent as with a png or tiff.
Grimey 10 Posted February 25, 2015 I have the image size the size I need it. But when I send it to scalp it seems to be A LOT bigger.
skarekrow 1,842 Posted February 26, 2015 Can you post the image?

Grimey 10 Posted February 26, 2015 I created my image as 20x20 inches when I save it as a png and open it with inkscape or scalp it is around 45x45in...
skarekrow 1,842 Posted February 26, 2015 Has to do with Photoshop saving png's at it's native 72 pixels per inch resolution. Set inkscape's preferences to the same and the size will match. I imagine it's the same with your SCALP.
