MokiDesigns 20 Posted July 8, 2014 I guess I should start. Here is my 1974 CJ5. Straight 6 (258), T18/D20, D30 open front, D44 full Detroit locker rear, sitting on modest 33x13s. Two of the shots it only has 31s on. Once I started rock crawling it, I relocated the Hi-lift to a better location.
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted July 8, 2014 James, I love the CJ! I have had 4 CJ5's over the years and they are my favorite of all jeep platforms. Tons of fun and just plain cool.
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted July 8, 2014 Here is a few pics of the most bad-a$$ of my builds. Unfortunately a serious dirtbike accident caused medical bills to soar and I ended up cashing it out to pay the doctor. It's a 1993 YJ with and ARB equiped Dana 60 front axle, 14bolt rear w/detroit locker and disc brake conversion, 5.13 gears, hydro assist steering, Hummer1 runflat rims 39" Interco IROC tires and somewhere around 10" of lift. It was a lot of fun to build but a HUGE money pit.

MokiDesigns 20 Posted July 9, 2014 Great looking YJ, Goose. Good flex for having leafs. I like the hummer wheels too. I really like the FX4, Moody. The color is perfect. Let's see a close-up of the custom decal. Keep 'em coming everyone!
Moody Blue 505 Posted July 9, 2014 Did it in Oracal 951 Silicon Metallic and the accents in 751 Matte Black. The Silicon metallic is almost identical to the sterling gray metallic paint Ford used on the bumpers and rocker panels. The other picture is my back window decal.
jmas 119 Posted July 9, 2014 Here's mine a few years ago. It has 32s and 3.5 inch lift now. I was going to build it more then I had a kid and never have time to go offroad anymore. It became a mall crawler, but I still love driving it. I've had it 11 years and may drive it for 20 more. It's currently in the shop getting a new engine after throwing a rod. Once I get it back, I'm thinking of doing a 3m 1080 matte gray wrap.

In fact when I put on wider flares I bought TJ flares and cut my wheel wells out.
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted July 10, 2014 Here is a pic of my current toy. This was when I first got it in stock form. It's going to be a while in the build process because I don't have the time or many to invest too much at a time. My kids drive this about a mile to the highschool. It is already much dirtier and someone keyed the passenger side pretty good.
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted July 10, 2014 Here was the fist step. I rebuilt the front with a winch and bumper.
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted July 10, 2014 Then over the last few weeks I did a set of slider (previously posted in another thread) I think i'll do the rear bumper before I worry about a lift and tires.
Moody Blue 505 Posted July 10, 2014 One of my buddies loves "Yoters". He works in the car business and is always trading in and out of new rigs. At one point had a Lexus LX with heated/cooled seats and power windows...he called it his Luxury trail rig haha
