mxracer394 22 Posted March 17, 2014 I have this sponsor logo done and it came out slanted already using impact. Since it is slanted to the right it would go on the left side of the car. I need it slanted towards the left for the right side of the car. I have used the skew option and it looks horrible any advice
JP Auto N Design 36 Posted March 17, 2014 Is it just text? Can you post a pic of it?
slice&dice 2,450 Posted March 17, 2014 In the TEXT dialogue box, there is a slant option, and you can go into negative numbers (backwards slanting).
mxracer394 22 Posted March 17, 2014 That's another issue I can't get it to look the same lol

mxracer394 22 Posted March 17, 2014 That is what I was wanting to do with it.... Is there a function I'm missing to do that?
JP Auto N Design 36 Posted March 17, 2014 Well to be honest, Inkscape is my preference over Signblazer, Adobe, etc. (I guess i'm weird like that) so that's the program i did it in. But i don't really see how you're missing a step. To me, skewing is skewing, regardless of what program you use, tho there are some fonts that don't skew well one way or the other. I don't know the effect you were getting when you tried to slant it to the left so i guess i can't really say for sure. Maybe try and download Inkscape and give it a shot (it's free), unless some of the Signblazer pro's have a better tip that i may not be familiar with. xpaperman 719 Posted March 17, 2014 I am not sure why you would "re slant" a logo in an opposite direction just because it is on the other side of the car. A logo is a logo.... why would you change it? In my opinion it should always slant the same way. I know I must be missing something but I hope the previous reply helped!

That's what I have heard from some racers. Butch
mxracer394 22 Posted March 17, 2014 well i just redid it in signblazer and when i clicked the text box i went ahead and set the slant at zero. I was being lazy.
