Go-C Graphics 856 Posted March 1, 2014 So my clean cut blades came in today for my new CE6000. There's a little tiny spring in the box with them. What's it for? I never saw a spring in the OEM blade box.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted March 1, 2014 I am not 100 percent sure but I remember reading the ce6000 has the spring permanently in the holder so you wouldn't need it - I do know for a fact that the sprint in the ce5000 comes out and you get 1 new spring with every 5 blades ordered - I think in case you lose

Go-C Graphics 856 Posted March 1, 2014 After examining the blade holders some more here's what I figured out. The OEM hold that came with the graphtec doesn't need a spring but the aftermarket hold I got from ebay is designed different and needs a spring.
