tooler82 182 Posted December 17, 2013 I was tasked with doing some engraving on wood for a Masonic Lodge. They gave me the graphics, but they're in SVG. Usually I convert them in Inkscape or on online-convert.com, but I'm having trouble. They won't open in Inkscape, and they fail to convert online. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted December 17, 2013 are you importing? They all imported fine. I have version 0.47 If you have a problem with inkscape, then uninstall, reinstall it.

tooler82 182 Posted December 17, 2013 Yes I'm importing. When I tried to import them in my Inkscape 0.48, it says: Failed to load the requested file c:\filepath\filename.svg. But I really appreciate the help. Thanks
tooler82 182 Posted December 17, 2013 Do you think uninstalling and then reinstalling may help? I'll try it
skarekrow 1,842 Posted December 17, 2013 No problem... earlier this year I installed Inkscape 0.48.... can't remember exactly why but uninstalled it the same day and reinstalled 47.
